killerdann12 reacted to WaavinHicks in Caselab owners
I am looking at expanding rad space atm, I was going to put another 240 in the front but it would be to tight of a fit so thats why i looked into a new case. Plus im a bit of a J2C fan boy

You can't read anything because it's only "Thumbnail" get it? No? Ok...

killerdann12 reacted to isHypnophobic in Long range high performance router?
I'd get an AP. Preferably a CISCO AP, those things penetrate walls well and they also got lifetime warranties.
Edit: Although if you want to stick to routers, I would go with @TheKDub's recommendations. My bad, I just love APs so much!

Asus RT-AC66U.
Or Netgear Nighthawk x6

killerdann12 reacted to VioDuskar in Need a laptop with 980M SLI
you keep going on with NEED and NOT AN OPTION, but honestly, laptops are laptops and desktops are desktops.
it's like saying you want a supercharger and NOS on a motorcycle, not a car. while it can be done, it can't be done well, or has to be a custom job.
the thermal throttle will be real. really real.
and honestly if you're playing crysis3 above 45FPS on a laptop you're doing fine. it's a playable framerate.
i'm a graphics snob as much as the next guy, but dude, you have to understand with form factor comes limitations.

killerdann12 reacted to Atmos in Youtube banner ad blocker
If you're going to use an adblock, Dont use Adblock plus.
They're a corrupt company that stands by nothing they claim, openly selling bypasses to their adblocking software, which is why users still see ads on google, microsoft's sites, and the like.

killerdann12 reacted to Fulgrim in The 'Gender Gap' in programming
I mean after all, if you're a business owner and you can pay women less for the same work, would you not only hire women? It doesn't happen because just like the existance of god, it's imaginary and does not exist.

killerdann12 reacted to TheSLSAMG in Build under 750
It's not the best build you can have.
Intel are irrefutably better for gaming in terms of CPUs even when the AMD CPU is overclocked, therefore I've changed the FX/CLC/Mobo combo for an i5 and motherboard. The stock cooler will do fine. The GTX 960 is a good card, but not the best value. The R9 280 offers more power for less money.

killerdann12 reacted to Glenwing in Best 16:10 monitors for triple monitor setups?
It's a 7-8mm border on the U2415. The PA248Q has about 18-20mm and I don't have the U2412M on hand but I think it's about the same.
