4.8GB are reserved for hardware devices such as iGPU. You should be able to change that amount in BIOS or disable the iGPU if you have a dGPU

enable high performance 40c idle is normal. Fluctuating means fan curve isn't optimised right.   Check what Radeon says. If not available, enable it in bios. If not an option, well continue this. Good. Then you should do a benchmark run, something like 3DMark to see where you stack against the rest.

Most Nvidia gpus have a 0% fan speed under certain temp thing already i think (dont hold me to that), but you can make your own fan curve if you wish possibly through bios, im not too sure, or through some 3rd party apps, id recommend fan control by Rem0o

Nvidias main business is in the Datacenter so they dont really care about gamers who buy a 300-1000$ GPU when they can sell one H100 for 34.000$

Discussion don't make much sense indeed
Pipes up/down makes no difference, nothing will introduce more air in the system that what is already there and some permeation
What matters is just to not have this air glurgling in the pump block, so don't put the block above all the rest of the loop (tubes and rad), that's all

I did a quick google search and it seems to be a common bug on 1st gen Intel. Over at TomsHardware someone got it fixed by resetting the CMOS of the Motherboard. But they dont really know why this happens - seems to be a bug

I would recommend updating your motherboard BIOS and resetting the CMOS

the 7800X3D is much better for gaming if that's their sole purpose

You have to make a platform change even if you go intel

If the main usage is gaming, then 7800X3D hands down. 13700k is decent, but hot as hell.
Assuming you can afford platform change.

g.Skill is a known and reputable brand to purchase from. Netac will be using someone elses ram modules in their sticks. Without buying them and taking them apart, you have no idea if they are going to be a solid manufacturer or not, so i would avoid.

Gskill is the way to go IMO

Make sure the paste is non-conductive and that it covers the entire die area after it's spread out. You can do this by either applying a little more than you think you need and letting the mounting pressure spreading it, or using the mini spatula that comes with some brands of paste.

Isopropyl alcohol (70% or better) is preferred. You can use a paper towel with it, and finish it off with something microfiber to get rid of any fibers that might've been left behind (coffee filters work well for this, though I tend to just grab an old t-shirt as that tends to work good enough).

I'd actively try to avoid this unless you have no other option. The performance with this stuff is great, but it requires so many precautions to prevent it from killing your laptop, and since it'a a laptop that's moving around a lot it is even more likely to try and kill something if you don't insulate perfectly.

Angusticlavii reacted to mMontana in Google to give Pixel 4 years of android updates? Fairphone: "Hold my beer"
According to an italian media company, the choice for this SoC (more IoT than smartphone oriented) is due to longer support for android versions and patch release guarantee by Qualcomm.
Since the 2020 hiccup, the trend of smartphones is "costier, neverthless crappier", under certain market tiers. So the cost for Fairfone 5 is simply humoungus, considering the performance package delivered.
Then start kicking in some of the "buts" that Fairfone wants to emphasize
-less predatory behave while obtaining raw materials like rare earth metals but not only
-a much modular design for the parts, for increased repairability
    -user-replaceable battery
-commitment to provide for longer than competitors the parts for repair the device

Who's buying "the cheapest device while satisfies me" won't consider any of these buts... meaningful. Who don't want to change phone, if the battery is simply dead... that's a gamechanger.

Unfortunately too many smartphones are eWaste the second they are finalized... and this should stop. The sooner, the better.

I literally cringe and don´t want to click them, maybe i got to old and the Tiktok-gen likes it,
but i feel like it clashes with the new approach more towards Quality instead of pure Entertainment.

It´s my first post and i know that clickbait and silly faces is a must for the algo, but maybe i´m not alone it if they are testing new things out, it gets a bit more mature.

    I would go for ryzen 7700 not 7600, where I live 7600 costs 270 eur and 7700 costs 310.
I would get Gigabyte B650M DS3H as per Hardware unboxed suggestion.

Don't get asus boards, they are trash and overheat all the time.
