  1. you can use https://getfancontrol.com/ to do so
  2. I did a quick google search and it seems to be a common bug on 1st gen Intel. Over at TomsHardware someone got it fixed by resetting the CMOS of the Motherboard. But they dont really know why this happens - seems to be a bug I would recommend updating your motherboard BIOS and resetting the CMOS
  3. 4.8GB are reserved for hardware devices such as iGPU. You should be able to change that amount in BIOS or disable the iGPU if you have a dGPU
  4. You have to make a platform change even if you go intel Like WTF? You definitely need a new motherboard for 12th and 13th gen
  5. You really should go with the 7800X3D i dont get why so many guys here still recommend intel CPUs when they perform worse in gaming and consume more power than your GPU
  6. Nvidias main business is in the Datacenter so they dont really care about gamers who buy a 300-1000$ GPU when they can sell one H100 for 34.000$ Its sad but thats the world we live in
  7. the 1240P is quite a hot chip, i got multiple laptops here with it and many of them run pretty hot
  8. 4070 is decent but the 7800xt is much better imo
  9. Nice concept but i dont get why they use a midrange SoC. Its gonna be so laggy when it gets Android 18 that nobody will want to use it anymore. But you mentioned a possible SoC upgrade so maybe thats thier solution.
  10. Does the PSU of your prebuild have PCIe power cables? Otherwise you will be limited to 75W for the GPU
  11. If they dont support your region and you order anyway its pretty much your fault
  12. just return it if you dont like it - so many websites have wrong product information
  13. Yeah looks good but get a windows key. maybe change the cpu to a 7600/7700 non X and use the included cooler to get more performance per $
  14. The problem is enrtry level rtx cards do not really have the performance to play games with raytracing other than minecraft rtx maybe.
  15. This! I feel like you get a lot more by going with AMD at that price. The 4060Ti is just too cut down and the 3060 is a great card for its age but still gets beaten by the 6700XT.
  16. Found another thread, it seems to depend on BIOS version: https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/10dcjd9/intel_blocks_undervolting_on_alder_and_raptor_lake/ @leclod
  17. Intel should really disclose this information to the public - especially these days when undervolting is more important than overclocking
  18. Yes this should work if the adapter is made correctly
  19. yes might also depend on the motherboard - also there is no K version for the 12400 so it might be a diffrent story - the 12400 also does not have E-Cores
  20. From what i found online you can dile in custom settings but they wont apply if you have a non K CPU https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/xhefqo/undervolt_a_nonk_cpu_on_z690/ https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/undervolt-locked.304367/
  21. Its used to store files wich are frequently needed - Windows does this for better system resposiveness as long as your ram is not fully used by another programm
