  1. Yeah could be nice, gonna look around on ikea and have a look at colours etc, thanks for the help and suggestions
  2. Yeah that combo looks pretty nice, thanks. My only problem with dark furniture is that with my current black and green setup it might look a bit too dark?
  3. Yeah probs do lmao, Thanks for the idea
  4. Hello, I am currently looking at buying new furniture for my bedroom and this includes a new desk. I am unsure of what colour for the furniture would best fit my room's wallpaper and paint. On two walls I have the wallpaper shown below and on the other 2 I have a plain magnolia paint. I am likely to have some led lighting on the back of my desk and a colour that would make that look the best is a plus. However whatever matches my room the best is more important. At the moment I am mostly struggling between the Oak and White colours from Ikea furniture. Any ideas are appreciated Thanks
  5. I have checked the box and there are no spares
  6. Hello, I am in need of some more motherboard standoffs for my Phanteks Enthoo Pro case as I currently only have 5 and need 9 for my atx motherboard. I have tried contacting Phanteks via their support email but have had no response. I believe the standoffs I need are M3x5mm+4, however I am not too sure as the case manual does not specify exactly what standoffs it includes. Does anyone know the size of the standoffs I need? Or is in M3x5mm+4? Thanks
  7. The issue has changed slightly and now every morning I go turn on the PC it does not work properly.
  8. Yeah I'm trying to figure out what the problem is first before sending something back. Going to try going to a friends house and swapping out parts to find out the problem. Will keep those ideas in mind. I have tried different power outlets, swapped ram around, don't have any spare ram though to test.
  9. Hello, I have been having trouble with my PC recently and I have no clue what part of my PC is causing it. So my computer has been crashing and then not turning on properly. It turns on and the motherboard, cpu fan, gpu and psu fan turn on yet none of the case fans do and nothing is posted. The speaker in my motherboard does not seem to work so I cannot listen out for post beeps. Once the PC has started the issue it takes hours to fix itself, usually all night. I have done many tests but do not have spare parts to swap out original parts. I have: • Tested PSU with multimeter when PC was working fine and after it stopped working (all pins showed correct voltage) • Unplugged everything apart from motherboard and PSU (still didn't work) • ran computer on motherboard box (still no luck) • moved computer to a new case with no success Things I know it isnt: • HDD & SSD - would boot to bios even if that was the problem • GPU (still does not boot even with GPU unplugged) Possibilities: • PSU is faulty (even though it supplies correct voltage - could be what crashes computer in first place since it fixes itself over time) • Motherboard is faulty (would have to replace motherboard luckily warranty is still active • Motherboard standoffs are shorting motherboard and causing it to fail (do not have all 9 standoffs installed as some are missing. Contacted phanteks to see if I can get some more. I have 5 - corners and centre) It could be something else but these are the most logical possibilities I can come up with so far. I am confused to what is the problem as no one else seems to have had this issue. Quick question: When a motherboard is shorted out does it take a while to fix itself? e.g the next morning after being off all night Thanks for anyone who can help. My PC Specs are down below if needed PC Specs: i5-4460 @ 3.20GHZ MSI Z97 Gaming 3 Sapphire RX 480 4GB Nitro+ Corsair CX500M Phanteks Enthoo Pro SanDisk 120GB SSD Seagate 1000GB HDD
  10. The thread inside some are wearing down and not screwing in properly and getting stuck with the screw inside. Not useful if you are trying to take the motherboard out. Thanks
  11. Hello I am looking to replace my existing standoffs with some new ones as they are wearing out. Does anyone have any suggestions on which ones to get? (Which type, etc) I have an atx build so I need 9 standoffs. Preferably from Amazon so I can get them quickly. Thanks - Liam
  12. I have used a multimeter to test my computer both when it was first working this morning and after it died recently. All pins were showing the correct voltages. I realise it might be the case/motherboard standoffs that are shorting the motherboard and stopping it working for a while. However, it does not fix the problem when I ran it on the motherboard box on thursday. When a motherboard gets shorted by case/standoffs will it take a while for it to work once again? Or would taking it out the case onto a motherboard box fix it straight away?
  13. Yeah at the moment I'm swinging towards a PSU issue since it fixes itself after a few hours or so of it being disconnected from power
  14. Okay that's good to hear. Need a different psu to test. Will try get access to one
  15. Hello I am having a strange problem with my PC where I will be using it as normal when it randomly shuts down and attempts to boot again. Here it fails to boot fully and gets stuck half on half off. The motherboard, cpu fan, gpu, psu are running however the case fans do not run and nothing is displayed on monitors. A few hours later or the next morning my PC will boot up perfectly fine. I have deducted it down to three things by taking various tests with certain items unplugged from motherboard. It is either: PSU problem Motherboard fault Overheating issue causing pc to shutdown (would make sense while gaming) However, yesterday there was a power cut in my house and my PC was on and that caused it to start the cycle of failing to boot fully again. Although this morning it booted perfectly fine. I am lost of ideas and do not know what to do to fix it If anyone has any ideas they areally very welcome.
