I'm planning on building a PC inside this case and i saw on a review that you need to remove the basement top if you want it to fit 3x120mm fans on the front. Do you really need to remove the basement top, or was the review talking about radiator fans?

I'm planning a new build, and i'm stuck with some questions about the fans. My primary doubt is if 4-pin headers on motherboards can control 3-pin DC fans, or if they are all the time at full speed. I chose the ASUS strix Z270E that only has 4-pin headers, the kraken x62 for CPU cooling that (i think) uses a 4-pin to 3-pin adaptor (https://www.nzxt.com/manuals/krakenx/X52-X62-115X.html) and i'm planning to swich all the fans (including the radiator fans) for the corsair SP140 RGB LED (3-pin DC) and i don't know if i will be able to control them, or if they are going to be at full speed all the time.

I know they pretty much have the same performance. But is there anything at all that makes one better than the other? (I need to choose one for the build i am planning)

I really like samsung. Why would the 850 evo be better?

So i am planning a custom build which focuses primarily on gaming. I was about to settle for the samsung 850 pro 512 gb when i noticed that the 960 evo 500 gb was about the same price. It seems the 960 is a lot better in all of its aspects, but is it the best choice for me?
