creativename got a reaction from abacus787 in what is the difference between h61 and z77 chipset?
don't get a h61, get h77, h61 is for core i3 and below on sandy bridge. And don't even get a 3570k, get a 3570
4670k uses 1150 socket, h61 is a 1155 socket. get a b85 chipset for the 4670k.

People also didn't understand why anyone would want a 720p display when 480 was a sweetspot. And then people couldn't understand why anyone would want 1080p displays on phone when 720p was a sweetspot.. Give it a year and you'll be wondering why anyone would want a 4k display when 1440p is the sweetspot.

h75 is a waste of money. Either go 240mm radiator, otherwise air coolers will always be cheaper/perform better/more silent

creativename got a reaction from Victorious Secret in Corsair K70 & K95 RGB With Cherry MX Blues discontinued
Have you actually used blue switches? You can't even hear them through a closed door. Blue was only switches with a sharp click, the brown's small dull bump isnt even close to the satisfaction of typing on a blue. Clears are better than browns, they have a more noticeable bump, but still nothing compared to the clicks of green/blue switches.

I personally don't think it looks that good. Not sure why, it looks fat.

micro transaction doesn't mean you have to keep paying. You can play fine without it, you only pay if you want something. And if u look into battlefield games, most of it is weapon packs and class packs.

60hz is never smooth. Go use a 144hz for a while, 60hz is not smooth.

creativename got a reaction from FruitBasketSilex in "Affordable" and compact mechanical keyboard
"affordable" as in for someone with a job? or "affordable" as in a teen who leeches off his parents. Because for someone with a job, 100-200 is plenty affordable.

ECS if one the biggest motherboard distrubutors. They make mostly for OEMs, and they don't put work into making it look fancy.

creativename reacted to Blebekblebek in Minimum Specs
1 core , 2 cores, multiple cores
Clock speed, better IPC with lower clock speed etc
For example old games that measures requirement with clock speed (like 2.5Ghz requirement) won't run on my old AMD 4050e despite having higher IPC it refuse to run
specs nowdays alot more complicated
but the minimum requirements makes it easier for developer to narrow down solution for bug/problems they found.

1. Hardware solutions will most likely be better than software solutions.
That's all these is to it.

creativename got a reaction from shert73 in 1440p 144Hz OR 4k OR 1080p surround?
3x 1440? I didn't mention 1440p even once in my post. I said 3x 144hz, not a single mention of resolution.

Not really. In communism everything belongs to the public, nothing is privately owned. Communism is the perfect form of government, that can never be achieved.

60 is very choppy, not as choppy as 30 or 24, but 60fps gameplay is not smooth.

creativename got a reaction from MrGoat in WTF titan x
Are you kidding me? I don't see 970 pushing 144fps on max settings @1080p, 60fps game is choppy, that should not be a standard, standard should be 100fps+

960 is not a good card to buy for 200 dollars. You could find better cards for 200 dollars.
