  1. Sorry I was stubborn about the IP scheme. Thanks to everyone that helped. Much appreciated
  2. Well I wanted to obfuscate because I don't believe it's part of the problem. I'm trying to hit it from a computer at 192.169.1.11 let's say. When I reach the web UI it's via IP. I should have added a screenshot. It's not a 404 page from just anywhere. Maybe I can disconnect my internet to test this.
  3. I also have a media2 share on my unRAID (^~^;)ゞ I've only tried to hit the server IP internally. I also assigned the docker container its own IP and still get the same message. I think there's something docker-related I'm goofing up. But every single video I see is so straightforward.
  4. I've been wanting to do this for so long, but I'm too scared. Might be worth a yolo if you can find an example of someone that's already done it for S22.
  5. Not authorized You do not have access to this server I've been through the setup process with different hardware and different OSs. I'm considering just running it off of Windows at this point. With unraid and truenas I'm getting not authorized when I try to actually manage the server. After looking into the preferences.xml and claiming the account a bunch I'm not sure what's the matter. I even used a different email because originally my email started with a number. I had pfsense running as my router not too long ago. I switch back to netgear to rule that out too. I'm stumped. All the videos I watch are like - just set this up 123 we're streamin'! I could use a hand with this. Using a Dell T320 2x 8TB SATA drives 1x 128GB nvme ssd as cache Unraid Version: 6.11.0 Intel NICs from mobo unplugged. Using 2.5gig realtek pcie card PERC 710 card, removed Dell firmware Honestly this must be a software thing. I'm just kinda proud of the build. Maybe it's related to whatever's at the end of this url http://192.x.x.x:32400/web/index.html#!/setup/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I got the idea to manually search for the server with HTPC app from Ben, but it gives a different error. Intead of not authorized, HTPC states that the connection's unavailable.
  6. Not that I know of. It's digital, so you don't own it the same way you'd own a DVD or any other pysical copy. If you were to download it, it'd be piracy. I don't see a way around the digital purchase DRM.
  7. Genuinely cool tip But the HTPC app just states that the server's currently unavailable with its IP and default port listed since I added it manually. Still stumped
  8. I'm having this same issue. On dissimilar hardware too. I had this issue with a pfsense router and my Netgear. I tried running on a gaming rig with truenas and also a Dell T320 with unRAID. I came across this but haven't been able to edit the file with winscp. And I'm bad at vim in a console. https://www.truenas.com/community/threads/plex-not-authorized-you-do-not-have-access-to-this-server.96858/
  9. Does the computer have a password? Run sfc /scannow And then it may be back to normal after a reboot If not you can also run this in PowerShell: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth If it's still an issue check for Windows updates too
  10. Double check the BIOS settings to make sure they're disabled or set to sleep. Are they the front USB ports or the ones on the motherboard...or all of em?
  11. Have you tried a system restore, this might happen if there were changes made to the OS recently.
  12. I haven't tried this but it might help https://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/ I heard about it from here: https://youtu.be/EphH4hwkr2g
  13. If you set the priority of your boot devices so the SSD is before the HDD, it will never boot from the HDD. Even if it did boot from the SSD, there wouldn't be an issue. You can make the boot priority to: 1- flash drive 2- CD 3- SSD 4- HDD
  14. I'd avoid Seagate, for mechanical I'd go with WD as well. I had a 4TB drive die on me from Seagate before.
  15. The main benefit is the cost. Another benefit would be the input, as in the steam deck as a controller. Someone before mentioned bloat. There will be no dumb Windows apps like the calculator and the weather taking up system resources in the background on a purpose-built gaming operating system like SteamOS. Every last drop of performance will be set aside for the game. At some point steam OS version 3 or whatever this one is called will be available to put on any computer including the aya, etc. There's no guarantee that the drivers will work properly, but I imagine those devices manufacturers would try to support steam OS because there's no licensing fee. It's likely that they pay a small fee to Microsoft for getting activated versions of Windows.
