  1. I'll just say that my PG279Q suffers from horrible smearing/ghosting as a result of bad response times. Also it has more backlight bleed than a premium monitor should have. So I would go with one of the other two if I were you.
  2. From experience, it is really hard to find an LCD control board that does more than 1080p @60hz. And even when I did find something that worked, it was too expensive to make sense (over $100 dollars for just a control board). So, what I reccomend is an adapter solution. You can adapt HDMI to DVI dual link, it's just a janky process. You need to buy an HDMI 1.4 to Displayport 1.1 adapter. This is one: https://www.amazon.com/DisplayPort-Converter-FOINNEX-Adapter-Powered/dp/B07G796JF8?th=1 Reviews say it works up to 1080p 144 hz. You'll notice it's an active adapter, it plugs into a USB port for power. Then convert the DP 1.1 to dual link DVI. Again, an active adapter. This is an example: https://www.amazon.com/Accell-DisplayPort-DVI-D-Dual-Link-Adapter/dp/B00856WJH8?th=1 You'll notice the adapters are expensive. So, you can either find cheaper ones (I just linked the first ones I found) or sell your monitor and buy one with HDMI. I hope this was helpful.
  3. I saw that listing and others on ebay. The problem is that dell seems to have a different connector on their model, as there would be no way to plug in the cables on that control board into the panel I have. The connectors seem to have different number of pins.
  4. So I had an old dell xps 2710 all in one PC that was basically useless. I'm trying to harvest the 2560 x 1440 panel from it and turn it into an external display. So far, I have taken apart the all-in-one and gotten the display panel. What I need to do is hook up the panel to something that can give it power and video inputs. The panel only has two ports, each with a cable attatched. I don't know what these ports are, and I've inlcuded pictures, so if anyone can identify them, it would be a huge help. If I can identify those cables, then it's possible I could find an LCD control board that would be compatible. Any help whatsoever is appreciated. Thanks!
  5. I'd want the "new" Razer Blade, because of the gaming performance and probably significant battery boost of it over the stealth
