  1. Slap on an Arc reactor in the middle and some fans, but really have you seen Colorful's gpu?
  2. This reminded me of the milk crates we used to use back in shop class to stack as chairs or for carrying around tools and parts for cars.
  3. How many 115x sockets have we been at now? Don't forget that Skylake, Kabylake both used 1151, same with Coffelake using the same 1151. Basically intel has been effectively using the same architecture deep down for 4 generations of cpus and the same socket. Don't get me started on tick-tock, they're running out on both by now.
  4. I think at this point Microsoft has sullied the name Cortana, such a cool thing back then, now it's just a sad former shell it once was.
  5. Parents don't like phones at schools? I don't like parents at schools so yeah.. But the last time phones were a concern was more in elementary school really, 40% of my class were using BBM back in ~2011, by the time I hit high school I had a sliding phone with a QWERTY keyboard, and at that point using your phone in class wasn't really a problem, unless you were cheating on a test/exam. Personally I was reading books and articles on my phone during high school.
  6. Next thing should be fixing Android Studio, OTHO sadly I don't think my S8 will be getting updates once S11 releases or next Note comes out, even basic security updates are non existent on flagship devices that aren't incredibly aged say around 3 years old. A price to pay for non closed eco-system.
  7. A possible Navi 56 and Navi 48 would be good to see.
  8. A 3600 doesn't really need a 280mm CLC, it can do just fine with something like a Noctua U14S or a Dark Rock 4 Pro. I myself run a D15 on a 2600, 6 core ryzens no matter what generation aren't nuclear reactors that you need a high end CLC for it, I spent $80 CAD on my D15 used which is $60USD ish. Get the best GPU you can reasonably afford, your circumstances are different than mine cause local retailers (I'm in Canada) still sell them for a fair premium, and there's only a few skus which aren't above average that are selling at 2060 Super price like the Zotac 2070 mini sells for basic 2060 super cooler prices.
  9. Your case doesn't have the best airflow, since the glass panels are just way too close to the case and at best are just slits, GPU cooler is pretty much near a FE/stock cooler so you're not in a good situation in any which way, one way would be to remove the glass panels/have some washers or something to give it a bigger gap if you must have your tempered glass. If anything you could get a 120/140mm LC and get a Kraken G12 and slap it on. There's also undervolting too, in any case those are your options. Basically if you don't want to spend much, adjust/remove the panels like I said above, if you're big money, LC mod or simply trade it for another 2080 Ti with a better cooler. Towards the end Steve talks about glass being too close really.
  10. You're fine as it is with your CPU, again with proper cooling and at least a good 120/140mm liquid cooler, or something better than a Hyper 212 EVO if you're really overclocking the 4790k. You won't be too far behind against modern six cores, unless you're doing 1440p
  11. Or you could just get a 2060 Super which is just a 2070 but cheaper was it? And actually in stock.
  12. Overvoltage is a thing you know, I know my Hynix A Die does not like too much voltage, while Samsung B-Die doesn't mind a lot of voltage. An example was I upped the voltage a bit, had it on 3200Mhz, it was stable for a good 30 minutes then crash, there's a near hard limit for some dies.
  13. AMD used to sponsor F1 cars that are related to Ferrari, though I don't know how well their sponsorships are right now since their finances are doing better now.
  14. https://www.anandtech.com/show/13277/globalfoundries-stops-all-7nm-development If you give a quick rundown they're stopping or at least pausing 7nm class development because it's just not worth the investment to be on the bleeding edge of semiconductors, mind you the article was written august of last year, it's unlikely things have changed, but Zen is most likely going to be with Global Foundries or Samsung (or x-nm licensed by GF).
