Hi, i've got this weird issue where my lan and wifi can be connected to my router and access the internet. like i can watch videos go on discord but windows itself doesnt see that it is connected and I cannot enter some games as it detects that I am not connected to the internet. anyone knows of this issue?

Just to update this thread. I found out that one of my MOSFET is shorted. Replaced it and the board works.

Yes I've tried 2 different PSU a Corsair 650w and a seasonic 500w. No I've only got this b450 board with me. The PSU works since I've got an old fm2+ system and it works fine with both PSU

When I start the PC, there's a singular "click" sound coming from the PSU and nothing turns on. Also I tried turning on the board with only the 24 pin and everything turned on with a CPU error. Only when the 8pin is connected there will be a "click" sound at the PSU with nothing being powered.

Hi, so I've got 2 CPU a 5950x and a 3600. I've got a b450 aorus wifi board, when I put either CPU in the motherboard, the lights turns on and off. When I jump the PC on, there seems to be an overcurrent protection sound coming from the PSU. Should the 8pins CPU be shorted? I've tested the pins with a multimeter and they are shorted with both CPUs in but aren't shorted when I take them out. Any ideas? Cheers!

Alright i've reinstalled windows and it seem to fix the issue. maybe something in windows 11 got messed up. Thanks alot for the help.

i don't believe they use the same anti cheat. yes no matter its max graphics or the lowest it will still happen. it happened about 3 months ago i just didnt bother to find whats wrong with it. I might just reinstall windows and see if its still happens

I have not tried it with a single monitor but it was fine before so I didn't think that it would be an issue. yea triple A titles do not seem to have that issue only esports titles. I've played cyberpunk on max settings with raytracing and don't see this fps dip. yes I do have my cpu and gpu clock speeds up and they are turboing just fine.

Hi, I have been playing apex legends and noticed that every so often, the fps will dip from 300 to 110fps. At first i thought that since it was a fast action shooter, maybe my pc cannot keep up with it. Recently, I installed League of legends and played on it. To my surprise, my league games also dip from 300 fps all the way down to 35 fps. These fps dips happens multiple times and maybe for like 1-2 secs. I have hwinfo up as i'm runnning 4 screens. The cpu is not overheating and is constantly at around 4.5-4.8ghz while gaming and temps are about 68-72 degree celsius. My Gpu, I have afterburner up monitoring and it doesnt go above 75 degrees celsius. Anyone have any idea on what may cause this issue? My pc specs Cpu: Ryzen 9 5950x Ram: crucial ddr4 64gb 3200 Mobo: Gigabyte Vision DP b550- F16e bios cpu cooler: artic freezer 280mm Gpu: Zotac 3080 ti ssd: p5 plus 2tb psu: corsair rmi 750w Windows 11

Yea i've replaced the battery and clear cmos as well. With the gpu plugged in I'm just stuck at the gigabyte startup page with an error code 99 and keyboard doesn't work as well. I saw some videos talking about how it was a io issue and it was fixed when they plugged out their usb hubs. But I have nothing attached to my pc and the issue seems to be the gpu which is working fine.

Hi, I've got an old system with a gigabyte z170x gaming 7 with an intel i7 7700k. I tried to put in a 2080 super that i just got but the mobo showed an error code of 99. When i took the gpu out, the pc boots just fine. The gpu works just fine, does anyone know what is the problem?

So I have just noticed that the TMPIN 2 temps are jumping the most. Idle from 60C to 80C while TMPIN 3 just stays at 14C When gaming or doing work, the pc doesnt overheat or downclocks. It's just that the pc is taking TMPIN 2 temps and making my pc fans on full blast the whole time. Anyone knows the issue?

So I’ve recently just repasted my MacBook as the thermals were high when on idle. after placing my thermal paste, the whole pc just sticks at 0.8ghz even if the temps are 40c at idle. anyone knows what the issue it?

I'm currently running a 1800x is it a good idea to get a 2080 super to go with the cpu? only games that i play in 144fps is overwatch I just need other games to look good on 60fps ps. running a 1440p 144hz monitor

So to get started, i have a 1800x overclocked to 3.9ghz paired with a gtx 1080. I game on a 1440p, 144hz monitor. I started streaming overwatch with the x264 encoder(faster preset) and my game can't seem to hit 144fps. It always dips to 90-120fps. anyone has any idea of why this is happening? all my settings in overwatch are like the lowest and i don't think its the gpu problem. Maybe the encoder is taking up to much cpu?

well guess its time to get a new monitor. ps accidently knocked over it while moving. still feeling bad about myself.

So i've recently cracked some parts of my 21:9 monitor and now it looks to be a 16:9. Is it possible to move the entire display window out of the cracked area and make it 16:9 usable?

@kirashi yea i plugged in to another computer and same thing happens. Not getting anything even in device manager....

So i was transferring data from my pc to my hdd and it hung halfway. Stupidly enough i went to unplug the hdd and now its not even getting detected. Anyone knows if i F up big time?
