First off, I couldn't find any servers. After about 2 and half hours of scouring forums filled with "Same problem", I finally found servers...but only 30 of them. I rejoiced when the game found a server. Of course when trying to connect, it timed out. I have allowed it through the firewall and downloaded and copied the MasterServer.vdf and MasterServer2.vdf files. I'm able to create my own server, but no one joins . (I like to think they can't since they also have this problem.) I'm also able to play a game with bots with no issues. I can play CS:GO, too, so it's not a Source problem. Any ideas are appreciated!

Well, it's not a terribly long game. I can probably suffer through it. If anyone can think of a solution for future people with this problem, though, it would be appreciated!

I have been playing Portal, and every now an then, mostly when loading a level, the game freezes. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del, go to task manager, and Alt+Tab a few times, then my cursor appears and I can go back and the game plays fine for about one more load session or about 10 minutes. I can still play the game, but it gets very annoying.
