  1. My new rig now keeps restarting after i power it on. Pressing the power button makes everything spin and work but then after one or three seconds it restarts and this continues in a loop.
  2. Ok so the dotted circle is still spinning. >.> its been more than half a hour. Any ideas what I should do ?
  3. I tried to use both options for the USB boot, but no luck . I had my usb flashdisk plugged into the outer front usb 3.o port. Thanks ^.^ originally planned to build a black|red rig, but my budget got reduced by a little bit so I had to come up with something else. I'll be recolouring the grey ring on the H105 and using some of bitfenixes black|white cable extenders. Edit : trying to boot into uefi usb key results in this (photo) And also wow i finally see a ring with dots spinning after changing it back to usb key (not usb uefi key). Wonder what will happen next.
  4. Hello everyone, Recently built a new rig with these components i7 4790K 16GB of Kingston HyperX Fury cl10 1866mhz Gigabyte GTX 970 Gaming G1 MSI Z97S Sli Krait edition Samsung 840 evo basic 120GB Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM EVGA Supernova G2 750W Corsair H105 3x AF120 quiet edition 2x SP120 quiet edition 1x AF140 quiet edition NZXT H440 Akasa Vegas white LED strip Im having a problem that the new rig somehow refuses to properly boot into the usb flashdisk with win 8.1 on it. It freezes with the screen only displaying the windows logo. Had boot options configured only to boot to the usb flashdisk with the other options disabled. Tried to do the same with my current pc and no problems at all. But using this new rig to boot into the usb is just a pain. When powered on everything is working - the cpu, all ram is recognized, my aio cooler works, all fans are spinning, gpu is working as well. Checked if all cables were properly plugged in I just dont know what to do anymore. I was really looking forward to use this PC when I came home, but I only became dissapointed. I really need your help to help me solve this problem. Thank you.
  5. aww, I thought it might be possible to do 240rad + 120fan, but seems it won't . Thanks for the reply !
  6. Hey, I want to ask you guys a question. Say, I wanna make a build with the NZXT H440 and I want to use the Corsair H105/H100i AIO cooler on the top and I want to put another 120mm fan next to the rad. Will it be possible to do so w/o any modding ? Sorry for the dumb question and thank you. Have a nice day ^.^
  7. That PSU looks pretty nice and woah almost half the price of an ax760i. I think I might be purchasing that. Thanks for your recommendation.
  8. Hello everyone, This is my second post, if I am right. I'll be building a new gaming system, but even after reading a bunch of articles about choosing the right PSU, I still don't get it at all. Also I'm planning on overclocking my CPU and my GPU (w/o watercooling, but might install watercooling in the future). Im making a Black/Red coloured build The parts : CPU i5 4670k (already owned, gonna reuse in my new build) RAM Corsair Veangeance 4x4GB Cl9 1600mHz MOBO MSI Z97 Gaming 5 GPU MSI GTX 970 4G HDD WD Black 1TB SSD Kingston V300 120GB (already owned, gonna reuse in my new build) CASE Corsair Obsidian 450D FANS Corsair Quiet Edition 2x AF140 (front intake) 2x AF120 (outtake and bottom intake) 3x SP120 (for a 360 radiator) Watercooling : Wanted to go with this, but seems the bay res. is gonna be in the way of the radiator. http://www.alphacool.cz/produkt/XSPC_RayStorm_750_EX360_WaterCooling_Kit.html?arg1=010608 So, I'm going with this kit http://www.alphacool.cz/produkt/Alphacool_NexXxoS_Cool_Answer_360_LT-ST_-_Set.html?arg1=010608 I thought about purchasing the Corsair AX760i, since it's black/red and modular. I want to get a modular PSU, because I want the rig to look as clean as possible. Can you guys recommend me a black/red (or all black) modular PSU that can power my future system with some overclocking ? Thank you.
  9. I your suggestions. I did both and then started it. I replaced the Crucial memory with my personal Vengeance Pros and it worked -> but when the old RAM is put back -> won't work. So yeah, I will have to contact the seller and ask for a replacement. Thanks for your help everyone ! Solved.
  10. So I tried resetting CMOS and replugging the PSU cable many times, still no change. Seems I will hand the build to some pros.
  11. I tried three different screens -> all working properly when used by my rig. Will try that. Thanks. Nope I'm not. The screen keeps saying No Signal, I tried using my 7870 fleX and w/o the GPU too. Still nothing. Will try resetting CMOS. Thanks for the tip.
  12. Oh sorry, how do I delete the first post ? Tried that too, I even tried many different GPUs including my personal 7870 fleX, but still no change.
  13. Well everything is plugged as it should be. Monitor to the board everything has it's power.
  14. Hello everyone, So a while after I finished building a new office PC for my dad (he was complaining about noise on his old system), I had to test it out if everything is okay. Turned out - not. When I press the button for turning on the PC everything starts -> Everything has power, fans, HDDs, etc. The problem is that the screen stays black. This never happened to me after building so many PCs. Never had this issue and that's why I'm here asking for your help. Specs : Intel Pentium G3430 MSI H81I Crucial 4GB 1333 CL9 ECC registered (some PSU I can't remember - 500W -> used in my most recent working PC) Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced Thanks for your help.
  15. My friend just send me this build, but w/o an aftermarket cooler since he said that I won't OC or anything http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2myAX
