Depending on your situation i would suggest powerline or a hardline connection.

I really enjoy brown switches. My experience with corsair RGB has been subpar, the software is buggy and tends to crash so the keyboard will sometimes not respond in the middle of a match when you attempt to change the lighting or hotkey profile. I prefer and tend to recommend non-RGB for the simplicity and reliability. Specifically the G710+, I have owned one for about 3 years and it has gone to lan parties and college alike.

The SPEC-02 looks good, you should purchase 2 additional fans and mount one as an outtake on top and another as an intake on the front. Set the rpm slightly higher on the front fans and you should have some decent positive static pressure. Hope that helps.

Sometimes games only send voice through the center and front l/r channels. Try changing around the inputs or removing the surround.
