RedPanda's Achievements

  1. Once we have more details about the 1060s the 1070 and 1080 will mostly just be enthusiast or vr/4k customers
  2. Depending on your situation i would suggest powerline or a hardline connection.
  3. A fan controller if the speeds/sound matters to you, a splitter or power adapter will also do the trick.
  4. I was wondering what the general prices are of the flagship cards 1-2 months after launch.
  5. RedPanda

    Star Wars

Watch the no cheese edits on YouTube of the prequels.
  6. The GTX also has a history of having noisy units, but the temperatures are good. The fans also take some tweaking to be quiet.
  7. I had no idea. So expensive though.
  8. I really enjoy brown switches. My experience with corsair RGB has been subpar, the software is buggy and tends to crash so the keyboard will sometimes not respond in the middle of a match when you attempt to change the lighting or hotkey profile. I prefer and tend to recommend non-RGB for the simplicity and reliability. Specifically the G710+, I have owned one for about 3 years and it has gone to lan parties and college alike.
  9. The YouTube channel SingularityComputers does some pretty cool stuff with hard tubing.
  10. Some of the most recent bios are pretty nice for controlling fans. Also PWM can mess with led strips and certain fans so DC is more universal. I wish corsair would make a corsair link internal fan controller that could be controlled through corsair link.
  11. Agreed, coil whine is pretty common for loading screens and cut scenes. Depends on the card, nothing to worry about.
  12. The SPEC-02 looks good, you should purchase 2 additional fans and mount one as an outtake on top and another as an intake on the front. Set the rpm slightly higher on the front fans and you should have some decent positive static pressure. Hope that helps.
  13. You do lose some security. Also some wireless routers have configurable hardware firewalls.
  14. Yes you can for most routers, check in your router settings.
  15. Sometimes games only send voice through the center and front l/r channels. Try changing around the inputs or removing the surround.
