  1. Here are a couple of awesome links you can use to help decide what is best for you. http://www.logicalincrements.com/ This is a 'logical increments' PC part list by price https://pcpartpicker.com/ PCPartpicker will help you find the parts, and also give you something to compare to if you would rather go into a place like Microcenter. *PS, I've been wanting to do a Microcenter run lately. I live near Rockford.
  2. XPS 13. *If you can find an XPS 13 with Intel HD Iris 540 under $1000 go for it, it's a nice large increase in GPU performance. Sometimes Amazon Warehouse will do 15% off on them.
  3. The 750ti is the most powerful (by a decent margin) of the three, followed by the 940mx, then the HD520. The Acer E is a great budget laptop for gaming. If you could save a little longer I would suggest https://www.amazon.com/Dell-15-6-Inch-Quad-Core-i5-6300HQ-Processor/dp/B015PYYDMQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1473720587&sr=8-2&keywords=dell+i7559 Now, the rule of thumb is to pick 2 of the 3 following options: Speed, Low Cost, Build quality. The laptops posted above are Speed/Low Cost. If you wanted something with Speed and Build, I would suggest the XPS 15 with 960m.
  4. I've been watching LTT for years, and never thought to sign up for the forums. I just really like the content, this has nothing to do with winning an awesome new Razer Blade Stealth™ laptop with it's 4K Display, Intel Core™ i7 Processor, blazing fast NVME 1TB SSD Storage, and USB C connectivity with the Razer Core. If only it had a Kensington Lock..... cmon Razer, rookie move.
