Um. the WD drives are literally the Sandisk X400. WD completed the acquisition of Sandisk a while ago and all their drives are rebranded Sandisk ones. And no they are FAR worse because they cost more and the firmware they use is different. The firmware on the WD drives are actually worse than the ones on the OG Sandisk X400s. God help me if I know why, but WD is being dumb. 

The GPU in the Inspiron 7567 is good but I generally don't recommend the model due to its very poor display quality. I could recommend it if you plan to replace the display anyway, but you have other options such as the Eluktronics Clevo N850HK1 which comes with a good display right off the bat.
 
Side note: If you want 1080p the Eluktronics is good. But if you want 4K (not specifically recommending it but if you happened to already want 4K), I would try to get a deal/discount on the Inspiron 7567 4K. The Inspiron 7567 4K model uses a fantastic true 4K Sharp IGZO display, whereas the 4K model of the Eluktronics uses a PenTile not-true-4K display.

Voids the shit out of it, but fuck it. Jk. If u need warranty, might as well just buy the 4k screen then. As for guides.... It's more like a DIY learn as u go thing. 

See the thing is with the 4k encoding and decoding (10-bit hevc), it can be done on the GPU. Pascal supports it, but nobody can be arsed to code for it (more likely intel has some shady business deal to force 4k encoding and decoding for their kaby lake lineup). So I'm really annoyed by that. 
 
Basically, it means that netflix can support pascal decoding but choose not to.
