  1. hmmm... I'm going +400 on the memory and it doesn't move past 5865MHz. Even if i slowly bump past it to like +460. Edit: Maybe need a reboot.
  2. In Precision X, What do you have it set as? I also have the FTW3
  3. Hey guys so I just got a Hybrid cooler for my 1080 Ti and I'm testing how far it can go with Heaven running in the background. What are your OC's like right now?
  4. I could do as Intake. Right now it's 3 intake and 1 exhaust. I have the moduvent cover on the top to reduce noise pollution
  5. I would assume that with a custom loop where you have to try and fight the air out. But the AIO should come fairly sealed and airless no? That's what I assumed It would be neutral. 2 intake and 2 exhaust
  6. I was going to have it exhaust out the bottom instead of adding hot air in. Or would that conflict with the Vrm fan on the gpi and fight for air? There's a noctua a12x25 as frontal intake.
  7. Hey guys Bought the hybrid cooler for my 1080 Ti and there's a note in here ro place the radiator above the GPU for optimum performance. Does It really matter? I have a define Nano S and was going to mount it on the floor below the GPU. Edit : I should have put this in the water cooling subforum. Sorry mods
  8. I'm sticking to SFFpc volumes of 20L or less as I travel. These are the cases that can fit my 1080 Ti ftw 3. Sadly core 500 can't fit my gpu.
  9. How so? Back to back design like the DanCase but allows for some more cpu cooler headroom. Would love a DanCase but the very short cooler restriction on this cpu I have is what concerns me.
  10. Just small layer of liquid electrical tape on the exposed gold parts. Don't know proper terms. Resealed with silicon sealant. On the u14s great differences. On this cooler not even close
  11. Yes. Thermal grizzly Conductonaut. 8700k.its not hitting 90 C during my initial tests to make it freeze. The blue screens I'm getting is from the overclock I presume
  12. Same mobo. This delidded CPU was fine with my noctua u14s. Only happened just swapping coolers Bumping it down to 4.9ghz at 1.33v is apparently stable enough to do multiple runs of cinebench but hitting 90 to 93C. Cinebench score 1568.i was hoping for better temp results with a delid though.
  13. Hey guys. So I recently delidded my cpu and am planning on shifting from a Nano S to the Ghost S1. I've ran into a pretty annoying problem. In the Nano S I'm using the noctua u14s. For the ghost I'm testing the thermalright axp-100RH in my Nano S. Ever since I switched the coolers, my Oc'd cpu can't finish a cinebench run at the same oc settings. 5.0ghz at 1.33v. I am monitoring Temps. It reaches an average of 81C which should be expected for a 66mm tall cooler with a thin 100mm fan. It's not hitting 90 or anything. It just freezes the entire pc and it blue screens to different error reasons.like error_watchdog_timeout which is caused by lack of voltage. But these are the same settings I'm using as my previous cooler. How can me changing the cooler alone be causing all these issues
  14. Other cores. Gaming 2 or 3 cores sit at 50C when others are 40 to 42C. I assume because gaming only uses some cores?
  15. Hey guys. Experimenting with my delidded 8700k and I noticed some cores run ALOT hotter than others. Is this OK? 5.0ghz at 1.340v
  16. Higher Temps lol.i have an 8600k that can handle it at that voltage so maybe I'll just use that instead. Delid and all.
  17. Oh yeah that's important. 5ghz 1.31v. Z370 strix itx with a noctua u14s push pull. Temps idle at 34. 68C during cinebench. 58C during Intel extreme. Around 50 C during heaven. When watching hardware info 64 app it shows my clocks being synced across the board at 4.9xx or 5ghz.
  18. So I delidded and Liquid metal my 8700k and Temps are great but when I benchmark it seems to blue screen on heaven benchmark. This obviously doesn't put as much of a load as cinebench or Intel stress (100% load} but for some reason blue screens on heaven. The error is clock_watchdog_error so looks like I need to turn up the voltage for that. But why does it handle 100% but not gaming load
