At work today. Had to try to explain to a lady ...data...like....just the whole ....everything...
What data is, how it travels, how its measured, what its called, GB's bigger than MB's.
Just about every one asks "how long will X amount of data last" "How much can I do with X amount of data" My answer is always...errrrrrr I cant tell you exactly. So they insist on giving me examples. "How many movies can I download?"....... I think these people are lucky im the one explaining this stuff to them. Otherwise they would never even begin to grasp it.

I just helped a lady with her emails on her iPad. I deleted her email account, reset it online, re-logged in...still no emails. I quickly came to the conclusion she just had no emails. So I sent her an email. It comes through instantly.
Jezz lady, Get some friends to email you or a subscription from something if you want regular emails. Gahhhh.

Not quite but a guy I used to work with would refer to the case/tower as the hard drive. Im like the hard drive is only around the size of my hand...so many times I had to correct him. Anoying.

I had a couple come into my store today. They wanted help getting emails on their iPhone 5. They didnt know their password and asked me why they would need to know it since its always logged in on their computer.
I really dont like having to deal with these kinds of people. I always feel like anything I say, they will take ofense to because of the complete lack of knowledge they have and the general nature of technology.

Over christmas we have been doing a lot of sim replacements from "mini-sim" to micro and nano sims. A guy I work with was saying that its really anoying when someone comes in and they take 10 minutes to explain that they got a new phone and need to change their sim card.

Its like...all we do after christmas day, I agree with him. People are stupid, they think we need their life story about how they aquired a new device and how its a different sized sim and if we CAN OR CAN NOT...change their sim card for them....when we told them thats what we would do and that we are the ones who can do it.

I hate christmas. I hate it more because I work in retail where just about every customer that comes into the shop is an idiot...a legitamite idiot.

I like the customers that admit they are idiots and feel bad about being an idiot and just leave you to fix their problem. They understand where they stand in comparison to me and what skills I have vs what skills they have without making anyone feel awkward or frustrated.

OH MY GOD. Dude I know your pain. I had a lady do the same to me with a cellphone. I spent such a long time explaining to her how it works. She came back the next day and wanted to return it because all her mains plugs were being used and she didnt want to have to unplug one thing to plug in the phones charger. Even though we explained she can buy a multiport if every thing must be plugged in at the same time.

Going to help my grandma log into skype on her phone soon. Which shes only going to use when shes at home on Wifi...where she has a laptop. ¯\(°_o)/¯
