  1. Hi, I just recently bought a Quanta server, QSSC-2ML model to be exact. It has a dual socket 2011 processor installed with only one E5-2650 8 core running at 2.0 GHz and with 16GB of ecc ram. I bought to serve as my Plex media server. So far, its installed with Windows Server 2012 R2, as I'm just experimenting at first. And now I'm thinking of switching it to unraid to host the Plex media Server. But I don't want to waste some computer resources, spending all the 8 core CPU power only to run NAS, so I had in my mind to run Windows server VM on unraid along with the NAS that is already on unraid to serve some other service that I might needed in the future. But then, running my plex media server off the windows server alone doesn't take that much resources, which leaves a plenty of room to run other more services and can also host my Files on my LAN. So my question is should I just stick with windows server or switch to unraid and run windows server VM with it? Also, I want to access my files remotely outside the network which I can view, download and upload files to my laptop or phone just like dropbox or google drive, Any suggestions?
