Q1: The maximum supported length is 303mm, but I specified it for 295mm for easy installation.
Q2: - 10mm
Q3: Prototypes are in production. I will have the first samples in the next 2-3 weeks. Kickstarter will start end of May or early June.
Q4: Same procedure as for the A4-SFX I will talk with Demcifilter.com
Q5: The case will have a logo at the front. I think without it the front looks very boring.
Q6: Wallye TACTIK DUFFLE V2 should fit. I will talk with Wallye about this topic.

I'd get Filco board with backlighting. I find tons and tons of excellent keyboards with everything you want, but they either have backlighting or the switches you want, very rarely both.

Ooh, cute case. I have its bigger brother 303 so this one should be fun too.
From In Win's page for this case, they list the maximum GPU length as 330mm. The Strix 1080 is listed on Asus' site as 298mm, so you have about 32mm spare, barely enough for the x52 radiator OR a fan, but not both. Back to In Win's page, it looks like on the other side of that bracket is the solid front of the case. I'd argue, even if you could fit a fan or rad in there, you wouldn't want to as there would not be enough space for airflow. So my opinion is this combination of components would not be effective in this case. It will be nasty, but you could run the rad with a single fan with the cooling performance drop that comes with it. I note the case also says it has dual 120mm spaces in the bottom, so depending on the mobo size could that be an option also?

Just purchase a cheap network switch, I think i paid $15 for my 4 port switch and it works great.

IF you don't want to spend 10-15$ on a network switch, but you have a tool to put connectors at the end of a cable, you can split the wires from the cable into a couple of connectors.
The downside is that the maximum speed each computer will have will be 100 mbps.
Network cables have 8 wires, arranged in 4 pairs. For the 100mbps network standard, only 4 out of the 8 wires are used, so you can actually put 4 wires into one network jack and the other 4 wires into another connector.
These are the two standard ways you would install a connector at the end of a cable, and it would work for 100mbps or 1 gbps. But for 100 mbps only wires 1, 2, 3 and 6 have to be inside the connector.
So to create 2 x 100 mbps connections at both ends of the cable, you'd have two jacks on each end.
First jack will be : [ white-orange | orange | white-green | nothing | nothing | green | nothing | nothing ]
Second jack will be [ white-blue | blue | white-brown | nothing | nothing | brown | nothing | nothing ]
and an identical arrangement at the other end of the cable.
Of course, you'd need two ports in the router as well.
Anyway, buying a gigabit or 100 mbps network switch will be simpler and give up at least 4 ports, not just 2 ...

Yeah, those would work fine. 5M up to 1.2A. Even the controller that it comes with has a max working load of 2A, so those will definitely work.
Also, as I said, the strips are able to be cut. Any sections removed, reduce the overall current draw. So if it is 1.2A at 5M, You should have PLENTY of power supplied and distance for your case, using those LEDs.
Don't forget to post the setup. Sounds like a cool build.

A 1070 is good for 1080p 144Hz, so if you want to get 165fps at 1440p then you definitely want a 1080.

Really it doesn't matter that much. You are correct though, only other 16x PCIe cards have to share the 16x bandwidth. If you have a 16x card it won't be affected by the 1x sound card.
Also, currently graphics cards aren't even able to utilise the whole 16x slot, they barely can max out 8x.. The performance difference isn't noticeable.

I'm sure that doesn't mean that the... front end of the card? Back end? One of those ends is touching the wall and it's probably accounting for a fan being there.

It is a tall card, true. But as i've said, pc part picker has it listed as compatible, and the pci-e plugs are recessed for tight tolerances as you mentioned.

I believe this issue is due to the card's height being more than the usual 114mm or so.
http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=133256 - This claims the Carbide 240 can fit a 135mm tall card. The STRIX is 134.112mm. Plus the PCIe plugs are recessed so you should be able to fit it. If you already have the case with a standard height card, see if you have at least about an inch of space.

yes, it would be better to use the sound card of the x4 slot, that's connected to the Z170 chipset
alternatively, if you need all those slots you should look for a H170 alternative: example ASUS H170M-PLUS
