Even an RTX3080 doesn't use full 16x bandwidth.
This card has such low performance that it is perfectly fine and not bottlenecked with 8x.
You could probably even run it at 4x without any performance decrease too.

    That's a very rare size.
Many more options around 40-42" or the next step up is 48-50"
55" is about the most common option so sometimes its actually cheaper to buy that instead of a smaller size, depending on the model.

I would recommend you take a look at rtings.com, they have the most in-depth objective and scientific reviews of TVs.

The capacitors are usually not an issue, it is the mosfets that often overheat.

I live in canada so heat isn't an issue.
If it was I would just use a duct to vent it out a window, since most buildings don't have AC.

Enderman got a reaction from Moonzy in How to improve my PC's power efficiency (and maybe make it cooler)?
Maybe use ducting to vent the exhaust from your PC outside?
There really isn't much you can do to reduce the heat a computer puts out, since the way it works is basically 100% of the energy it uses is turned into heat.
A better power supply will only increase efficiency a few percent.
Undervolting will also only be a few percent, unless you go far enough and reduce the performance significantly.

A reset just makes problems worse.

    Yeah no.
I've seen plenty of people do windows 'resets' and all it does is make issues worse.
It is absolutely not the same as a clean install.

If you somehow manage to properly seal some barb fittings to the water bottle without chances of it leaking and killing your PC, sure go ahead 🙂

You can get flat white ethernet cable that is hundreds of feet long, it's easy to run underneath carpets or along the corners of walls, and it fits under doors too.
The white colour makes it blend in.

First of all, it's not just gaming, but the majority of programs that exist don't need many cores.
Only entusiasts and video editors and other professionals need many cores.
Most of the world is still running on 2 or 4 core CPUs.

Second, not everyone has an extra $100, many people have a set budget and would rather spend that money on storage or a better GPU than more cores that won't help them

Third, not everyone lives in the US, and $100 USD is actually a lot more than that in other countries, making the difference even bigger.
