  1. So, what made it just harder is that the pixel 7 just dropped in pricing for black Friday, it is now 650 which brings it right into the mix with these phones. I think I will go with the Pixel 7, it is more expensive, but I feel it hits the best in terms of price to performance. I am paying more but I feel the 40 dollars is justified for newer hardware and better battery life.
  2. Yeah, mine has the same problem even though I changed out my battery. Replacement batteries are not that great and yeah it just gets hot or slows down probably because the battery can't give it the power it needs. Hence, I kind of need a new phone after 3-4 years of use.
  3. I am upgrading from One Plus 6 as its battery coming to an end and losing performance. I have been looking around recently and I can see that the Samsung S21FE is retailing around $610 CAD while the Pixel 6a is retailing around $500 CAD. I need help in deciding between the two and would love your input. Things I care about: (In order) 1. Battery Life 2. Display as I watch lots of YouTube videos 3. Camera 4. Software support 5. Good Speakers I personally do not have a preference for one ui or pixel stock experience. I feel I can make both of them work for me if needed. Edit: I am buying the phone unlocked with no contract
  4. Thank you for the feedback, time to get some GPU off of Marketplace
  5. Interesting take, I will take a look (like a used 3060?)
  6. Sorry I made a mistake on my PC part Picker, I have changed it now. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/D8kDhk I was talking about the RTX3050 vs GTX1660 rather than the 3060. I feel 6600xt would push me over budget
  7. Budget (including currency): 1200 CAD (including tax) Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly for playing Minecraft + Sims (Mostly light steam games) + Adobe Cloud (Photoshop Illustrator) Other details 1080 or 1440p at 60 FPS Probably buy most parts from Memory Express Here is my build https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/D8kDhk I am wondering if I should go for a RTX3050 or GTX1660 Super. I probably won't need to use ray tracing, so wondering if a 1660 Super would to the job as well. Also any good resources to see how any FPS I can get on specific cards on specific games?
  8. I am looking for a headset with mic to use for music listening and gaming. Summary: + Listen to Music (Genere : EDM) + Good Microphone (Don't might the third party mic) + retractable + Comfortable + Light - 7.1 Channel - Not interested in gammer specific features - Don't own a dac or amp so no high impedance headphones What I will do with it: I casually play games and listen to music. I am a bit of a bass head as I listen to lots of EDM music, but I don't want anything crazy that is just about the base. I guess what I would like is a bit more low end the the reference headphones. One thing I do need is a good microphone that can be stowed away. I also game and listen for a long time, so I don't want anything heavy. I also prefer a comfortable headphone. What I don't want / need: Let me first make it clear, I am not a pro gammer, I don't need anything fancy, just one driver on each side is fine with me.
  9. I am from UK. I have been looking at laptops, but I was wondering if you can help me answer those questions. I have a budget of 1000 pounds. A good display would be a bonus. Portability and battery life are not of importance.
  10. Hi, I was wondering what should I be looking for when I am getting a computer for photo/video editing? I will be using photoshop/premiere. I am guessing the CPU and the GPU are important. Which one is more important? How much does CUDA help with rendering? What I am wondering is if it is worth it to upgrade to a GTX 1050 instead of a mx250 when I am looking to do video editing. Thoughts on AMD?
  11. What about curved. It is worth it? Also what is 4k food for then. It seems like ultra wide is winning in almost every case?
  12. I was afraid of this as well
  13. Should I go one ultra wide and on the edges two 1080p Monitors? Too Overkill? Maybe one?
