  1. Thank you all for your replies. Exactly what I was looking for. My CPU is fine, I should look for GPU update as stated above and possibly get 16GB of RAM. Wait for Vega and decide after that. Just in case... Have a great day everyone!
  2. Hello everyone. I would like to ask you, what do you think, is the best way for me to upgrade my PC? Had it like this for about 4 years now. Planning on giving it to my GF and I will probably build a new rig soon. My specs are below: MB: Asus B85M-G CPU: i7-4770 3.4GHz Graphics card: ASUS GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5 RAM: 8GB RAM - 1600MHz OS: Windows 10 Home edition - installed on SSD I can run most games at High/Medium presets at 60FPS but let's say, I would like to have a bit more FPS, prepare the PC for new 27", 1440p, G-sync,144hz monitor(not sure which yet) and make it all a bit more smoother experience. What I would like to improve on it, is that it can handle a lot (I mean a lot) of chrome tabs. She does this a lot, slows the PC with it and only way to make it all go back to full speed is a reset of the whole PC. More RAM could probably work but I would just like to check this with you, if it is true that 16GB can make it all a bit better. Although, that quantity of tabs is probably not going to be handled anyway... Will have to unlearn her this habit. If new GPU won't help due to bottleneck of the CPU... Please suggest a combo of CPU and GPU that could improve the performance substantially, otherwise I wouldn't like to spend a lot of money on it. Thanks for your suggestions!
  3. @Pomfinator Only Fiio E10k. Micca origen is nowhere to be found. I've read up on Fiio E10k that it might be good enough although the previous version had it's problems. I am mainly worried about hissing, I wouldn't be able to handle that. In terms of power, it should be enough to power 80ohms, right? Thanks for your reply!
  4. Yes, unfortunately. I have checked every volume option and set it to the highest. Oh man, Fulla 2 seems to be out of stock on Schiit Europe website and there is only 1 shop I can get it at and it costs 160€. Any other suggestions I could check? Any experience how long it takes for Schiit to restock? Thank you!
  5. Hello everyone. I would like to ask for your advice on what should I do to get my DT770 80Ohm headphones louder. I've noticed that music/youtube, on my laptop/phone/desktop PC is loud enough for me but when I turn on some game (tried Overwatch, PUBG, Dota 2, CSGO so far), I don't get enough volume to hear everything as I would like to or as I was used to with my older headphones/speakers. Now the sound quality is on another level than I ever heard. So naturally I've found out that an AMP/DAC could help me out. From what I've gathered, it seems that Schiit modi 2 would be a safe option. What I would like to hear from you guys, is a suggestion for maybe something cheaper that would be good enough to power up these DT770s, I've read that they aren't that hard on power, so possibly Schiit might be an overkill? Anyway, I hope to get a suggestion for an AMP/DAC you have an experience with and which doesn't have any kind of hiss to it or other problems. Oh and budget... I don't really want to go over 100 EUR, but if it will be necessary to have the headphones loud enough for me... I will go for it. Thanks for your replies!
  6. Sorry for another question. I need an advice as soon as possible. I might be able to get Asus Xonar D2 for about 50 EUR, which seems to be a good deal but I need to decide today. Will this Xonar D2 help with 80Ohm version of Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO? Will it be enough to power them and get full or better sound out of them rather than using standard motherboard sound card? (My mobo doesn't have any improved sound card). Or only a better AMP would help out? Thanks for your reply!
  7. Reusing this topic. I am wondering if I should get the 32 or 80 Ohm version myself. I get that if I don't have an AMP, I will not get the potential out of 80Ohm version but here comes the question. Is it OK to use the 80Ohm version straight to PC / Phone and get as much out of it as I would have 32Ohm version? Or they would end up not sounding good at all? I am asking because their prices are the same and maybe in future I would buy an AMP. Thanks for your reply!
  8. Hello everyone! I would like to ask you, if there are any headphones in a reasonable price range (100-130$) which can be used as wireless and wired headphones at the same time. Let's say, when I am sitting at my desk with my PC (gaming needs), I want them to be wired (to save battery charge) and sometimes, when I go watch TV or something and I need to have the sound only for me and not to disturb people around me with the TV sound. Just plug a USB receiver to the TV and listen to it wirelessly. If there is nothing like this, then I will stick to the Steelseries Arctic 5, which I am planning to buy. Thanks for your time and reply! Best Regards Adam
  9. Hello LTT forum members, I would like to ask you for an advice. Recently I have acquired a side job as a local sports commentator. It isn't the type of a commentators you can listen to in a TV or somewhere else. Basically I have to announce any important events during a match in a specific way via a phone call to my match operator. Exact and fast response is necessary. Anyway... the problem I have encoutered during my first match has been that I couldn't hear anything my operator was asking me due to the noisy enviroment, you can expect, in a small enclosed sports hall. I was using cheap earphones with a microphone but without a volume control on them. I know, clear answer is: "Buy better earphones" but I would like to ask here if any of you have any experience with a problem like this. Noise cancelation would be the best way to fix this. So... few questions: - Is there a way to use, let's say, full sized headphones (microphone included) with your phone? I don't have any headphones to try this out at the moment. - Noise canceling earphones? Is that a thing or just a gimmick? - Any suggestions for better earphones? Have to get quite loud with included mic + volume control. - Any app, that you know of, would help with any of these problems? - Heard about portable amps for phones. Any suggestions on this? Could it help me? My phone is Oneplus One. In case of any questions, please ask and I will try to give you more information. Thank you very much for your time and reply. Have a great New Year! Best Regards Adam
  10. Ok. Let's change this a bit. I won't be able to find anything that would suit everything I need for the budget I have. So all I focus now on is 1080p 13.3" screen, i5(4 core would be nicer but I can't find that in a reasonable price), SSD at least 128GB So please, tell me which of these laptops is better and which I should choose for whatever reason. DELL Inspiron 13 7359 (not sure about the SSHD here) ASUS UX305CA - FC024T Asus Zenbook UX305LA FC006T HP Envy 13-d102nc W7B01EA Thank you for your help!
  11. I would guess so yea. So let's say I would ignore the prejudice on Lenovo and yes I would want it to have HQ CPU. Best pick closest to my budget would be what by your opinion? Thanks for replying BTW!
