Eclipse with the PyDev plugin is pretty good. If you're a student, Jetbrain's PyCharm is good too.

So, now that it's cold enough, I've been wearing out my LTT merch with pride! I absolutely love the stealth hoodie and the Swacket. However, after the first few days of use, I noticed this happened: I don't know if it got caught on something when I wasn't looking, or what, but I've been super careful with these since I got them. Has anyone else had this happen?

I know that EscapeVR is going to be there, and I'm excited to see what they will have! However, I thought it would also be fun to see a Beatsaber competition in which people could play against each other, perhaps for prizes?

Still a few hours to go and I've already got the page loaded so I can refresh it for the 30 minutes leading up to the launch ?

Hi all, I'm visiting to Vancouver in late July, and I wanted suggestions for good, non-touristy restaurants. I don't really know much about the area, so any suggestions are welcome!

Just booked the hotel, buying the plane tickets in January!

It was Max, she was back in Canada (temporarily, I think) and stopped by. I was super excited to see her, because she was my favorite LMG team member! Yea, I have the 1+5t and the front camera defaults to 30% beauty mode on the rom I use. Yes, I stayed in downtown Vancouver and took the train/bus all around. I walked through Stanley park, explored the waterfront, and tried lots of local cuisine. I had a lot of fun! I have about 350 pictures of Vancouver and Richmond, I had thought about posting those as a personal take on the cityscape. Also, I'm really bad with cameras and stuff like that, so I have a face I use when someone is taking a picture of me so I don't look like an idiot. That's the smile you see

For Context, I'm a St. Louisan who had never left the state of Missouri. For my first ever out-of-state trip, I decided to take a weekend in Vancouver (to attend LTX). Here's my account of the expo. And the most memorable picture of all I was super psyched about getting to meet Barnacules, and I'm a big Taran fan as well

I got lucky, there's one right next to my hotel! I tried the bacon chicken sandwich, it was pretty good. I gave up on phone plans completely, I'll just use the hotel WiFi when I need to call or use the internet. Aside from that, I took a walking tour of downtown Vancouver, and it was wonderful. Also, I am thoroughly excited for tomorrow! The skytrain runs almost all the way from where I am to the Oval.

Thanks for the input guys, I'll definitely try out the A&W and Asian food scenes when I land! I'm feeling more confident now about making a trip north of the border. Ironically, this is the first time I've ever left Missouri (so I am looking forward to it like there's no tomorrow).

I use StraightTalk, which is operated by Walmart over the AT&T network. I get unlimited local, national, and international (to North America) calling, however they do not offer international roaming of any kind as this service is only offered in the US. The one issue I'm really running into, is that in order to buy a Canadian phone plan (at least online) you need to have a Canadian address. I wonder how my hotel would feel if I used them to get a sim card . I think I'm just going to buy the cheapest plan/sim card I can find when I land, what are the usual retailers I should look for to purchase a sim card? I know that Walmart has Canadian locations, but what would you recommend in terms of this? Speaking of which, I just compared Walmart stores across Mexico, the US and Canada. In Mexico and the US, Walmart offers several hundred options for prepaid phones over various networks, whereas in Canada they offer exactly four phones over... Telus. It seems similar to the Television industry in the US. One the surface, it seems as though there are dozens of networks (counting the cable conglomerates) operating over hundreds of stations, when in reality there are only about 4 companies who own everything, and they can charge you however much they want. The only reason people don't pay over $400/month for tv here is because of the internet, which is ironically about %50 owned by the aforementioned TV moguls. One a positive note, (and not to sound cliche, but) I'm really excited to try Tim Horton's for the first time! There was one open down the street from me about a year ago, but it was surrounded by three Starbucks', a Dunkin' Donuts, a Denny's and a Waffle House; so it lasted about a day.
