Oldest thing inside my computer: probably my Corsair AX760i (I built it this week cut me some slack) Oldest thing outside my computer: this GNR F173 17" 4:3 1280x1024 VGA monitor (absolute PoS, picked up for about a fiver), being used to dump chat windows, MSI Afterburner, etc. Oldest computery thing in my house: some eMachines thing, Intel Celeron D (Prescott, 2.0 GHz, skt 478), 256MB DDR RAM, 80GB IDE HDD. Upgraded to Pentium D (Prescott, 2.3 GHz), 512MB DDR RAM. -

I'd honestly rather have the plain text emoticons. I'm really not a fan of having yellow blobs all over the page.

It's supposedly 512MB, but the actual amount you can use is more like 150MB. That's just enough space for Instagram, xkcd and a torch app.

My HTC Wildfire S has a 600MHz ARM6, that thing is useless :D And my Raspberry Pi has a 700MHz ARMv6k, which is probably similar, right?

Yeah I was kidding about ARM, I can't stand it. PowerPC makes me want to vom (although the only PowerPC CPU I've ever used was in a 2006 Power Mac G3)

If your motherboard only has one fan header, you can purchase some fan header splitters, which are pretty cheap, or a fan hub/fan controller, the latter of which will allow you to manually adjust the speed of your fans. These shouldn't be too expensive either. Both 3-pin and 4-pin fan connectors should work with most fan hubs/fan controllers, but check first, as some may not support 4-pin fans.

I wouldn't buy this DAC purely on the basis of the company sounding like a bunch of morons (for lack of a better PG13 word). From the shots of their website shown in the video, it's clear that they're going for a "cool" and "pally" attitude towards their public relations, which is something I absolutely detest. I'm not their mate, it just makes them sound like a bunch of hipster idiots. No! I've never even met these people, so what makes them think they can talk to me in such an uncouth and informal manner? This is supposedly a business deal, but language like this turns the whole thing into an absolute farce. Perhaps a more appropriate way of saying this would be: Making up words is also something this company's PR department is guilty of. WTF does "awesomification" mean? In all honesty, it makes them sound like a bunch of five year olds who haven't learned how to use English properly yet. Also, "awesomifier". Makes them sound like complete and utter idiots. Also, the product doesn't look very good. /rant

I want to change the thermal paste on my MacBook because it's pretty old. I just bought some AS5 for my new build, but I heard it's electrically capacitive. Is this something to worry about when using it on the exposed CPU and GPU dies of my laptop?

I'll be using an MSI Z97 Gaming 5, which does support XMP. So it's nothing to worry about then? Eh, I won't be OCing much (I assume you mean CPU OCing) - I won't be using a custom WC loop for a long time
