I built my computer in September 2016 and bought 32GB of Ripjaws V DDR4/2133MHz for $124.99 and now it's running $300-$380. Glad that I bought when I did! -

They should make the ball transparent or frosted and shine an RGB LED from the inside of the mouse to the ball, using it as a bulb. That'd be pretty neat. -
You just pretty much told the story of 9-year old me playing Runescape on my parents' Gateway2000. The scariest part of sneaking PC time was the combination of the computer being in the room right outside my parents' bedroom and the dial-up connection required. I can't tell you how many times I'd click "Connect", turn off the monitor, and then go run and hide hoping that it didn't wake them up. Worth it for the Big Bones.
