csgo benchmark is very deceptive. the avg doesn't mean anything. its the drops in smoke that counts. even the 1080 at 1080p drops to 80fps in smome. idk why smoke is so intensive. does it render smoke atom by atom lel

Hello guys, this is my first time building a pc. I want a pc capable of playing most games at 144hz in 1080p, and AAA titles at 80-120fps at ultra. I am really confused on the CPU to go with. Here is what I have got in mind:- CPU- Ryzen 7 1700 Motherboard- Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 RAM-GSkill 8x2 2333mhz Graphics- Zotac GTX 1080 mini Power Supply- Corsair 650W Monitor- Asus VG248QE Some people have suggested I go with a intel i7 8700k or a 7700K because of higher per core performance. I am really worried that the R7 1700 will become a bottleneck in games. Please help. I don't care how big of a lead intel has in fps numbers as long as the ryzen can do 144hz
