  1. That is exactly what I am afraid of. Power jumps. Well I decided to stay with that PSU for now and replace it in 2 months or so. I will undervolt the Vega 56 and make the powerlimit -20% or something.
  2. a peak of 330W? that's fine, and it is probably pared with a more power hungry CPU. This 3rd gen I5 is ok for me, I will upgrade to zen 2 when it comes out or Ryzen 5 1600 if it takes too long.
  3. The CPU is fine, and I have a 1440p monitor so its not a huge bottleneck, I don't need more than 60FPS. Vega 56 takes 210W, and the BIOS won't let you go over 300W no matter what. with undervolt I think it is going to take aroud 190W, which is good for a 500W PSU, but it can jump to 300W for a few seconds at any time, and this is the scary part.
  4. I have a i5 3470 and a 500W Seasonic eco PSU. Can I buy a Vega 56, undervolt it and be good to go? or should I replace this PSU. I don't really have the budget to buy a new PSU so I would like to know what do you think. BTW, the PSU is 4.5YO
  5. RX 480 On release, the 1060 was better but as expected the 480 got faster with driver updates, and there is more to come. And! AMD now have their version of ShadowPlay called Radeon ReLive. It is greate!
