  1. Hi everyone, I'm a bit surprised to see all these tech channels promote and be sponsored by Corsair and this company having a lot of quality issues both hardware and software. And I really wanted to start this discussion to raise awareness to these issues. I only owned a Corsair mech. keyboard and a H100i v2 AIO. I'm gonna leave the Keyboard story for another time and focus on the AIO iCUE issue for now. All started with this thread on Corsair forum: New iCue "Freezes" and requires constant CorsairService restart Basically, FAN profiles for the AIO on ICUE "hang" and the Fans are silently not monitored or controlled. Having to manually restart a windows service to fix It. This was first reported on 06-27-2018 and is at this date without any fix or response from Corsair. Everyone is complaining about this! (At least people that want to do their own fan profiles) Initially I was very worried because If the ICUE hanged during a LOW load, the fans would not ramp up on a HIGH load. And that could cause overheating. My experience has been the opposite tho. It appears to always hang during ramping up and won't ramp down. But this is my experience doesn't mean the other way around can't happen. This abnormal time to fix this for me means one of two things: 1) They are indeed total incompetents with regard to software development (most people are suggesting this.. I don't buy It) 2) It's a hardware issue that they can't fix (USB controller on some AIO?) Hardware is done by Asetek right? If it's the 2) one, It's frustrating that they just throw this under the rug, they launch new products and everything is perfect until It's not... All the tech channels continue to promote this and we are all with rainbows and unicorns... They have done this with at least another product like their premium cherry mx keyboards, where after some time they would develop key chatter and where complete garbage. When we connect the dots and read people's reports, it's easy to understand it's a product design fault and they get away with It. Sorry for the venting. Again, I just wanted to get some awareness and discussion going on and hopefully that whoever reads this: Stay away from these products. Invest 40$ more and get NZXT AIO or something... In the mean time, I'm sure I'll be seeing Corsair on Youtube... Thanks.
