Thanks for the heads-up mate, much appreciated. Regarding the connectivity, even though I've a laptop, I always hook-up ethernet (CAT 6 to be specific). When I'm using laptop away from my setup, I always connect it to my 5Ghz connection. I don't have any disconnect issues when I disable the inbuilt bluetooth device and plug in third party bluetooth USB dongle. And regarding device cram, I live alone and my mobile is always on the 4G network, only my laptop is hooked to the WiFi when I'm away from my desk, post my Xbox controller, there's no other bluetooth device which I actively use.

Hi folks, Need help with upgrading WIFI & Bluetooth card for Legion Y540, as my current one frequently disconnects while playing with my Xbox series X controller connected wirelessly, while playing with USB-C connected to my controller and laptop, there's no problem. Fixes Tried: 1). Installed fresh version of Wifi bluetooth driver from Legion Y540 support page, still problem persists. 2). Installed latest update for Wifi bluetooth driver from Intel support site, still problem persists. 3). Installed Xbox controller companion software and updated Xbox's firmware, still problem persists. 4). Finally used a third party USB bluetooth dongle which I had, there were no disconnects at all. When playing with inbuilt bluetooth driver enabled every 5-10 secs there'll be a DC, when using the dongle for two hours there were no DC at all. So I was able to narrow down on the WiFi card became faulty. My question is I live in Chennai, India. will they replace/upgrade Wifi bluetooth card if I show them the faulty bluetooth in action? or if I pay them will they upgrade Wifi bluetooth card from their latest lineup or should I order from amazon India or something and ask the service center people to replace it. On the side note will they re-apply thermal paste, and where is the Lenovo certified service center in Chennai, India. Thanks in advance guys.

My device details as follows Legion Y540-15IRH Device name: LAPTOP-NV9RUEC2 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz RAM: 16 GB GPU: RTX 2060 (6GB) OS: Windows 10 Home (x64) I'm facing heating issue when playing games, my GPU temp goes upto 85C, and when it reaches 85 celcius, my gpu is getting clocked down. BTW never monitored my CPU temps though, coz i've undervolted it as per the following guide. What happened Need help in replacing my HyperX Cloud II (2015 model) which just died yesterday due to wear and tear of flexible thing near the 3.5mm connector, I made sure the USB dongle is still working, initially sound was creaking in my left earcup and it went down completely, initially when applying pressure on the flexible thing it was working, then both ear cups died completely. Use Case Since I play a lot of FPS games, sound stage needs to be neutral not bass heavy and will be attending a lot of office calls, mic also plays a vital role. These are the things which I expect from my new headset. What Should I buy Since I know how my OG HyperX Cloud II worked and what can I expect from it, should I just get the new iteration of the same which retails around 10,000 INR (~130 USD) or is there any better headset at the same price range. Or should I get wireless headset to be away from cable issues and hassle free (it seems all the wireless pair suffers in MIC quality department) Side Note Any clue regarding HyperX Cloud Core does it have a non 7.1 variant and HyperX Cloud Core + 7.1 Gaming Headset does it have same build quality as HyperX Cloud 2's and how about it's build quality and sound quality. My ISP provides a box which converts OFC to it's proprietary cable which then gets connected to my ISP's proprietary modem, from the modem I'll get my input to my router. These converts is literally placed two feet away from my main machine.

As I said, wanted to buy since have some extra cash in hand and wanted a new router for a very long time, the oem router which my ISP gave is busted and using a entry level rj45 router which is giving a speed of 30 Mbps up and down.

Hi LTTians, Need suggestion for a Dual Band WIFI Router for 10K INR. I own a 200 Mbps fiber connection, which will give approximate of 190 Mbps down and up, will upgrade the connection for sure, if a better connection comes up for a better price (future proofing). One desktop over ethernet and one desktop over wifi,three laptops and three phones will be always connected to this router. Usage is ethernet machine will be used for gaming, zoom/webex streaming and video streaming etc. And rest of the devices will be used for zoom/webex streaming, video streaming and general surfing. Need suggestion for this use case. My apartment is around 1000 sq/ft. Please suggest a router for my scenario. And also I've "Xbox Wireless Controller – Sport Red Special Edition" in mind to get.
