  1. I like the Z2 because the screen doesn't look cracked like my phone and DBrand is cool because customization of the exterior is something most phones lack
  2. Hey guys, I built my computer and fully made the switch to the master race just under 2 years ago. The case I chose was a CM HAF 932 Advanced mostly because it was big and cheap. After helping several other friends build their computers, I am more confident in my skill as a builder to make everything fit when space is an issue. Now I am moving away to University next fall (long way away) but with black friday/cyber monday/ boxing day coming up I decided that it would be a good time to get a new small case now as it will probably be cheaper. Requirements: Looks: I really like looking at my PC and so it was too look appealing Size: I want it to be as small as possible while still being able to accomadate a Z77 Sabertooth and a GTX 670 (Full size PCB, not the short one. Price: preferably under $120 Canadian I kind of want to be able to bring this around to places relatively easily, so a lighter case would be nice but not a requirement. Thanks in advance
  3. http://m.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112331 Do you think this case may work (I'm on my phone so link may not work)
  4. It doesn't need to be perfect inside, mostly outside... I can make it work inside
  5. Hey guys, I'm moving away to college and I need to downsize my case as I am currently running a HAF 932 advanced. I would like to use my current build (I can change the heatsink so don't worry about that). I am looking for the smallest case that can fit a Sabertooth z77 motherboard and a Direct CU 2 GTX 670. It does not need to be flashy (I'd prefer a subtle look) and if it could be around 100 Canadian, I'd be happy. Thanks!
  6. Hey guys, I have an S400C and i used my laptop, placed it in my bag came home and not even 40 minutes later i opened it up and there was some weird mark on it. I didn't hit my bad at all and the screen still works, there is just an ugly mark on it. What is it and how can i fix it?
  7. I'm positive nothing hit the screen. When i move the laptop the edges kinda look like waves, in a similar effect that you would get if you put your finger on an LCD screen
  8. I posted a pic with the post.. weird, well here it is
  9. No it doesn't feel any different than the rest of the screen nor does it move
  10. Hey, so i can back from school and opened my laptop up, and there was this weird mark on it that wont seem to go away but doesn't seem to affect anything. I have a touch screen ultrabook (asus 2400c). There is no observable damage to the exterior of the laptop and the lid has remained closed for only about an hour before i opened it to find this. I didn't hit my bad hard or subject it to any extremes. What is it and how do i fix it? I can post more pictures of it on different screens or what not if you guys ask.
  11. Okay, I think I would still prefer the windows environment over the chromebook. Thanks for the suggestion though
  12. Can you only use the internet on a chromebook, I honestly haven't payed any attention to chromebooks at all. Would I be able to skype from it? Use some sort of word processor? or is it just internet?
  13. Hey guys, I am looking for a new ultrabook as I want something small to do mostly web browsing when I'm not at my main computer. I am thinking of either buying this which is much cheaper, or this which is more expensive and looks to be much better. My question is that will I be more satisfied spending the extra $100 on it or should i save my money? If you have any other laptop which you think would suit me better, my budget is $700 canadian but I am obviously looking to save the most money I can. Thanks
  14. Thanks, but, I didn't see anything on how i should equalize it or have a preset to start off with. Correct me if I missed it though
  15. Hey guys, I just started using Foobar2000 and want to use the equalizer however I am not so good when it comes to that. I don't know what I am doing at all and any help/ presets to get me started would help greatly.
  16. Hey, I recently posted in the forum about new headphones and in the pursuit of better audio quality i figured i should probably buy a DAC. I am a student and don't have too much spare cash so if i could get a decent one for around 100 but not higher than 150 that would be amazing. I currently own AKG 142 HD's but will be likely upgrading to either DT770's or HD 558's. Thanks
  17. I thought it was because they were on ear headphones at first but i tried a pair of over ear headphones with the same design and also didn't find it as comfortable... I believe it's the compression of them conforming to my head, I have a wide head so there definitely is pressure from the headphones conforming to it. I just seem to have found that the other type of headphones to exert less pressure conforming to my head. hope this give you an idea
  18. Hey guys, I am looking for a good pair of headphones. Currently all I have is a pair of AKG 142 HD's and don't like them all that much. the cable is obnoxiously long, they produce O.K. sound but worst of all they are very uncomfortable. I am unsure if its the style of headphones they use or something else but they are just impossible for me to wear for longer than 15 minutes. I would prefer a headset with a more "normal" way of sitting on my head i guess. so heres the checklist: Optimal Budget: $150-200 Canadian Aim - For music and gaming What style would you like? I like open headphones, but i am okay with using closed Jack size/Connection Type - prefer 3.5mm for i have an adapter for 6.3mm jack Audio taste/genres - I like alot of rock, indie, alternative and dubstep, a good all rounder Do you plan to use a sound card? I plan to get one but currently do not use one Microphone required? no microphone is required. The reason I am posting is because there are so many headphones i could get and would like to hear your guys' opinion on which ones are worth looking at. Thanks
  19. I usually buy it from wherever is cheaper. Usually Canada Computer, Newegg or NCIX though.
  20. It would not be worth it to upgrade to an Intel for two main reasons: 1. You already have a fairly recent CPU and for gaming, performance rest more heavily on the GPU 2. You would need to buy a new motherboard for the CPU and install it with your current rig. It's not hard but it would still not be as easy as getting an 8350 (if you must upgrade)
