  1. My favorite part of the Z2 has to be the ruggedness due to it's water and dust resistance. My favorite part about dbrand is their attention to detail from the phone to the packaging
  2. Whingeing about how their life is terrible, and using me as some kind of therapist. Everyone has a hard life so STFU.
  3. It is relevant though when wondering what board to pick.
  4. Well I'm mostly referring to AMD boards, which I generally use. And I can tell you for a fact that you cannot buy an atx board that is as crappy as the lowest end m-atx ones. Go on amazon and have a look, you will not find an atx board that lacks as many features as some m-atx boards.
  5. Me neither, but they're out there for some cheap fools
  6. Some m-atx boards still use it, with only 2 SATA 3 ports
  7. Most atx boards are higher priced, and therefore are more likely to have better features. I can get a cheap m-atx board for €40 and I can't get an atx board for less than €70 simply because they use the extra space to put in more features such as all SATA 3 rather than SATA 2, more SATA ports, more RAM slots, more PCIE slots, better cooling, better BIOS options, more fan headers on board switches etc etc...the list goes on.
  8. My friend, Lets agree to disagree. I work in a PC shop where we build m-atx computers 3/4 times a week and I can say in my experience that m-atx boards often have less to offer, both in features and in overclockability.
  9. I love the red and black aesthetics- the best color scheme!
  10. That is a very specific performance difference. Go with ATX if you want the best bang for your buck. M-atx are (generally) lower quality/ cheaper and have less features due to less space. It's about budget, requirements and upgradability. ATX has more room to upgrade and are often better looking.

    Youtube 5.1

Flash remains available for Chrome also, I use it.
  12. Apart from the size difference? lol. M- ATX boards generally have less features such as lower quality audio, less PCIE lanes, less SATA ports etc, but overall you won't see much/if any of a performance difference. We need more information about your setup if you want more detailed replies
  13. I love the laser focus, it would make taking accurate macros so much easier!
  14. You should get a CPU with the 8750m otherwise the GPU part of the APU is wasted, and it should be cheaper too. If that's not possible then spend the extra 75$, it will make enough difference to be wirth it
  15. I know what you mean, but one of my main angles for this was that I could take it all apart and have no damage to any of the parts. Cutting up stuff is too final for me Especially when it's only for the sake of using up parts. Also- I don't think that would work looking at the measurements- I think i would have had to cut 2 of the covers, because under the 3rd cover is a metal plate, and that would have gotten messy
  16. Seemed like the best solution even if it does look ridiculous lol
  17. You wouldn't want it- maxes out at 90c on easy running games like Wow
  18. I agree, most of the threads I create have a least one idiot who refuses to read before either posting something irrelevant or jumping to conclusions. Yeah, I've never really been a fan of AVG, always seemed a to hog resources and lacked functionality. Your (ex) boss is going to get himself into trouble in a few months when a virus gets into the network and every computer needs to be wiped....lol. Or worse if his computers are specifically targeted - techies need to be listened to more, these people literally have no idea what they are talking about.
  19. So here I have a completed Ghetto Rig made up of spare parts and slightly damaged parts that I had around the house or had taken out of my main Rig. I took the motherboard, CPU and one PSU from an old Dell Inspiron 530 and the GPU was an overheating one taken from my main Rig. The second PSU was in my box of spares, not sure where from and the Antec 300 was from my old rig. So having these parts disused was annoying me, and I decided to see what I could create from them. I knew the Dell's PSU (305w) wouldn't be enough to power the 6970, so I looked into dual power supplies, and came out with what you see below. One PSU for the Mobo/CPU and accessories and one for the Graphics card. There were a couple of methods to setting up dual PSUs, such as splicing them together so that the one switch would turn on both, but I wanted to be able to easily dismantle this machine if I had other/better uses for the parts. Instead I used a light switch mounted to a 5 1/4 " cover at the front, with the cables plugged into the relevant plugs on the 24 pin adapter. I drew on the symbols to remind myself The whole build only cost me around €5 for the switch and cable, the rest of the parts were free, and I now have a pretty decent spare rig, but I'm not sure how long the HDD will last, it's nearly dead. List of specs are as follows: Intel Core 2 Duo E6650 @ 2.33Ghz 2GB 800Mhz DDR2 Dell Inspiron Motherboard(P35) HIS Radeon HD 6970 2GB (Reference) 2x 305w Generic PSU Antec 300 Mid Tower( All 4 fans filled) 750GB Generic HDD 1x Lightswitch Here are some screenshots of CPU Z etc ( I know that everyone hates Windows Experience Index - But I don't )
  20. Heard a lot lately about Avira, anyone know if its any good? Hadn't heard of it until lately.
  21. Like I said it is for software compatibility. Thanks everyone for those suggestions - had Avast in mind already and I use Malwarebytes all the time - wasn't sure if they were XP compatible.
  22. A Few of my clients need to run XP on their machines for compatibility with older software. Virtual Machines are not an option so please don't suggest anything other than Antivirus. I can't use compatibility mode either. So what's the safest Antivirus for XP?
  23. I use a Chrome Extension Called "MAgic Actions for Youtube" Lets you decide what color you want the page to be using the switch (see my previous post) and hsa many other really useful settings such as Auto 1080p and Auto Wide - And TBH apart from the stupid sub list, I prefer the new Layout- everything is there without clicking
