  1. Silent Power Supply! Heavy loads on PSU resulting in fan noise are not friendly for game focus
  2. Use FPS Target in Precion X so you would not go over your refresh rate...givet hat a shot. I've used Adaptive V Sync, could not tell any lag... Personally waiting on Gsync IPS Monitor. I never gamed on anything faster than 60Hz personally so I might be biased pesant.
  3. KINGPIN Classified is a no go with the power requirements and a need for the additional power cable to be plugged in...I was on the fence (even had it on Order) and I am now watercooling the regular 780 Ti Classified. And honestly now that I have the whole rig set up, not sure there was value hunting down the always low in stock EK block and additional size difference over reference PCB design watercooled 780 Ti. I do feel like I got best VRM cooling at cost of having issues routing tubing even in a Phantom 820 case! Also went with 780 Ti for future G-Sync monitor. But the time I need something more, I won't need a new card, I'd want a new monitors to just ramp down my refresh rate. But that's me. Monitor and second 780 Ti Classy would costs the same by then.
  4. Ooooo that is a great idea! It is a movie series I love. Did a quick benchmark. I might need to reserve the loop. GPU max temp 40, CPU now 63...maybe reseat the block on the CPU and check my numbers. Still leak testing.
  5. Currently sleeping on this design for V1. I might completely re-tube it later.
  6. Actually here is where my build stream will be: http://glintch.imgur.com/all/ Current state:
  7. Sorry no photos just yet. Still in planning. Currently using lots of paper to mockup what I plan to do. so much white in the case is very very interesting. I put a small UV LED while I was checking routing for my temporary Primochill UV Pearl Green and Yellow tubes. Oodles of fun. I think I will tear down this thing a couple times.
  8. I'd say those are damn good. I got similar setup elsewhere - you are in 780 Ti territory with those scores. Stock 780 Ti Classified. 4770K Stock. 8GB CL9 1600 RAM I got Valley 72 FPS (31.5 to 143.4) | FireStike Extreme 5427 | RE 13845 | TR 63.5 | M2033 62 | Heaven 65 This is really why I was wondering - if I should just go 780 Ti Classfiied in SLI and murder anything I even touch, stock under water, in game. Is 10-15FPS worth $250? I think ~30+ more FPS in SLI for another $500 is a better deal PS: 780 Ti Classy OC's on Air I am at Valley 80 FPS at stock voltage which I expect to push a bit further on water. TR 68.6FPS 1440P MAX everything +TressFX and Resident Evil MAX 1440p 14906 those are also a slight boost with 4.3Ghz on 4470K and Metro 2033 1440P FXAA ~70 and FireStike Extreme close to 6000 I spent too much time on the Classified thread and need to get back to reality and not chace the top % of some benching score and enjoy my games and modding my PC> Don't get carried away like me
  9. Figured as much. Already had to retap the top ones to mount to the case. Thanks! Will do
  10. Was thinking of doing that myself! Midplate and backpanel for the mobo track to cover up the black over white cable shrouds (white 820 version) Getting very tight with XT45 280 in the bottom and a ST30 420 on top + still need room for pump (currently on top of the bottom 140 FAN with a bracket) and reasonable location for the res (undecided) but it's a packed case with a EVGA Classified card taking up the space where I'd have it pretty badly...looks like I'd have a horizontal res in this and will be making a top fill port somewere. Too bad the ST30 420 version only has 2 ports ARGH! Let the true modding commence, since I haven't even cut a panel yet oh drain this somehow without taking everything out. Anyone got any creative suggestions for draining location in the bottom?
  11. The real torn on figuring out if i want Nickel Plexi or jump in with the two Acetal+Nickel I have in hand. I will likely be vinyl wrapping everything including the mobo shield anyways...so might not matter. Was hoping Plexi would let me see how clogged up the blocks are, but if they are clogged up to effect performance, I would notice it before I would by flushing the loop. Going to be using Mayhem diyes and pastels. Also I am bored with my Sabertoth and Formula with more blocks and mem blocks would be a sweet (visual) upgrade.
  12. Just seems like planning wise having 860i and adding all of the watercooling pump, extra fans and more lights, I would be nearing the capacity. Had the PSU almost blow my NZXT fan controller yesterday when I was overclocking the GPU and ran Tomb Raider.
  13. Nice System! Thanks for letting me know your personal experience, that is what I was looking for. I played some Metro 2033 and Tomb Raider today on that single 780 Ti Classy with mild overclocks. I am not sure I need second card for single 60Hz 1440p even at max settings for those two games. Do I want it - yes Would the 780 KPE take me a couple FPS - probably with higher stock clock and a small OC. Need to finish my loop first and clean up. Also figure out why my PSU clicked my fan controller after a hard crash on TR couple days ago.
