really i would not quite upgrade yet. the 980ti is about as good as a 1070 which is still a strong card.
but if you must and you can find a 1080ti its close to 40% ish better than the 980ti

If you are set on an AIO, get the 280mm as intake. But a Hyper 212 should also be just fine.

SoreRaito got a reaction from JabroniBaloney in looking to play battefield 5
Well the first thing is they tested it with the 9900k @5ghz that alone is different to a 6700k at whatever ghz he has it. What the techspot ppl use as a test bench is top hardware for the 1660ti.
The other thing is the tests are mostly done in the single player campaign which is to my understanding a big difference in performance than the multiplayer with x amount of ppl on one map.

I have played BF5 with a 8700k @4.9ghz 16gb 3600mhz ram and a 1070 at 1080p ultra and i was running around 80fps with fps dips in firefights to around 40-50 fps depending on what was happening on the screen, so i am talking here about real life experience not benchmark's (which are nice but not 100% the same for everyone). I did some research btw so don't worry about that, but what i was talking about here was my own experience with the game.

And Yes my number might be wrong for you, but i was giving him suggestions on from my own experience.

With a 1660ti u can probably run it on a mix of Low-Medium settings to get around 60+ Fps on 1080p.
If you want to go High-Ultra u need around a 1080/1080ti or a 2070 with Ray Tracing disabled in the settings.

Not really a fan until social stigma changes. I'm sure everyone has had at least one thought that someone would take offense to. "How would I rob that bank if it was me" or "that girl with that one guy is hot". People can get a bit outraged over damageless thoughts in text to begin with; To share thoughts, potentially instantly and without too much control, would be chaos.

3600 CL18 is equal to 10 nanoseconds while 3600 CL17 is equal to 9.4444444 seconds. Since this is only a difference of a point something nano seconds, it makes no difference in the real world tbh. Go with the cheaper one.

Depends on how happy or unhappy you are with your current set up. 960 is getting old, but if you feel it runs fine then be happy

Yes, 144Hz will be noticeably smoother than 60Hz as long as your system can push it.

SoreRaito got a reaction from Envit0 in 100% CPU and 50% GPU
1080p is CPU intensive so its kinda normal that its higher than your GPU the 8 GB of Ram might be a limiting factor too.

If your CPU is at 100% the whole time its struggeling to bring information to your GPU.
But your GPU is at 50% since it has not much to do a 2080ti is a monster of a GPU not made for 1080p but higher resolutions.

Try and get another 8 gb stick of the same ram you have to get 16gb.

Like Quadriplegic said the 7700 is bottlenecking the 2080ti you have. if you want to make better use of the 2080ti get a 1440p 144hz monitor so u take a bit of the load off the CPU since 1440p is more GPU intensive.

Pics or it didn't happen. Seriously though, I'd love to see some cpu-z/hwmonitor pics and a few cinebench runs just to see how much potential that thing has @ 4.7. As far as I am aware it's nearly impossible to achieve an overclock that high unless on ln2, let alone a Hyper 212. Pics please!

Having the GPU at 100% usage is good nothing to worry about it means that u are getting the full potential out of the card. The more GPU usage the better.
The card running at 100% usage doesn't mean that it is degrading in any way it is just really using what it has in processing power. What gives the idea that it is Degrading faster because of the usage ?
