  1. I have a massive 100 or so inches of space just above my desk whereas I have no cable outlets or anything on the other side of the room so for me a short throw projector is the only option, I would love to have this one because this truly is a Full HD projector, not like other companies which advertise 'Full HD' but actually just mean that they support HDMI input and display horrible resolutions
  2. There was a glitch, sorry for posting twice
  3. I love the phone's industrial design. Also, anyone who helps Linus is awesome, but someone who helps Linus and the community (eg via this giveaway) is just the winner, thank you dbrand!
  4. My favorite feature must be the multitasking capabilities, I love stock android and I know that LG are not the first to implement this but I have a nexus 10 for a tablet and the amount of times I have wished to be able to play a YouTube video while surfing the internet is just unreal.
  5. Sorry, my specs are: Motherboard - Maximus VI Impact CPU - 4770k RAM - HyperX beast 2133mhz 16gb Graphics card - Gigabyte gtx 780 Storage - 2x 840 EVO in RAID 0 and 1TB WD black
  6. So I decided to create a RAID 0 array with my 2 Samsung 840 EVO SSDs and despite the fact that there is no noticeable difference in the boot speed I have another concern. Every time I turn on the computer it will go and display the usual ROG logo that I've come to expect, however after that it goes and shows me the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology - Option ROM" (the thing that I originally used to create the RAID array), and then it kinda 'restarts' and does what it was supposed to do the first time round (so it goes and displays the logo again only this time it goes straight into windows), this is incredibly irritating and I need to know if there is a solution to this.
  7. I can't buy a RAID card because I have an mITX board (maximus vi impact). Are there any drawbacks for using software RAID? I see that when you create software this message appears: Does this mean I cannot clone my OS to this RAID array?
  8. So, I managed to get everything onto my HDD. I went into my Motherboard and set the controller to RAID, I then set up the RAID volume and everything looks fine! That is until I actually try to load windows. It goes into the windows logo and just as the 4 squares are about to assemble it blue screens. I've tried it like 50 times and it's always the same thing! I deleted the RAID volume and went back and luckily I didn't damage the HDD, I mean it's the only way I am actually typing this right now, but I have no idea what is going on
  9. So I made 3 extra partitions on my HDD, 2 from my original SSD (for the files and the system reserved 100MB) and another for my games. I just wanted to ask if it is necessary to clone the 100MB as well.
  10. So I have 2x Samsing 120gb EVO SSDs and a WD Black (which I will replace with a green soon because the noise is killing me!) and I would like to set up RAID 0 with the 2 SSDs. The problem is that I have my OS on one of them and some games on the other. I do not mind losing the games but I would like to preserve my OS since I am out of money. My idea is to temporarily migrate my OS to the HDD, then I will create the RAID volume with the SSDs and migrate my OS back to them. I am not sure of 2 things: -Is this even possible? -Is this the best way to do it?
  11. Sorry, I hope I made my explanation clearer now, I was in a rush and I didn't proof it
  12. So I recently downloaded Battlefield 3, I finished Arkam Origins, which I loved and which I believe to be a more intensive game, and now, from time to time, my Graphics card (Gigabyte GTX 780) suddenly decides to ramp up as much as possible. It sounds like a hairdryer! I downloaded MSI afterburner and set my own fan curve, for a while everything was going normal, I turned on Kombustor and a couple seconds after that the fans went crazy again, however in Afterburner the GPU temps were at 46 degrees Celsius and, more importantly, the fans speed was said to be at minimal RPM, probably even 0%! Can anyone help?
  13. On my Samsung TV it is the option called "Screen Fit" under picture size if you press the "Tools" button
  14. I used the rubber mounts on the caddy yeah, I know it is not the case but it is the spinning platter because it is still just as loud outside the case on a pillow
  15. I had this problem, most TVs have a "just scan" option or something like that which eliminates this
