It was the signal degradation that occurs due to the fact that it's analogue, and Linus sums it up well with "use anything else if you can". It's not really terrible, but it's inferior to the other options.

The title of this thread is misleading. When I first saw it I was thinking quite literally PC ports like USB, HDMI, VGA, DVI, ect. I then would've asked the question, why are you tired of PC ports? Quite ridiculous really.

Epic? Doing a PC centric game? A proper Unreal Tournament? With mod support as it's revenue stream? What the actual fuck it's like I woke up in the year 2000

Sweet, maybe we'll finally have a good arena shooter again. And with the UT veterans in the mix it wont be another UT3 which was a quite pretty game but ultimately failed to be a good arena shooter. Hoping for Rankin and Deck 16 on the map list, Face will obviously be there.

Such an interesting way to "pay for the game" by purchasing user created content.
 
Really can't wait for this game, UT99 and UT2004 are two of my all time favourite games, will be so much fun to get back into it again.

It's going to be more like them avoiding to make something the community does not want, so they hold open discussions with the player base. Plus the github stuff is going to work by by forking the original, if Epic sees a cool piece of code they'll ask you if they can use it.

I've shot an AK-74 on a range, I enjoyed it and I see why others would. But the "defense" thing is BS, at least in Europe. So, for sport- yes, otherwise- what's the point of it?

I chuckled @ GT being hardcore. My snobby/elitist description of racing sims: If you can play with a controller, it's not a sim. I guess I'm weird.

I have to admit, that I own "turbo sunglasses". Bought them when I was on holiday. They are not as good as a Saab 99, but still work
