  1. I appreciate the explanation, I thought there was something wrong with them with how drastic the difference in audio was. I do notice a difference with the QC35s but it's not as drastic, so it doesn't bother me, I still consider them fine when powered off. The difference in the audio wasn't the only thing I experienced with these earphones though. I noticed popping at higher volumes with ANC on (while I'm sitting in my room with basically no ambient noise, I've heard cases that certain ambient noises can cause popping), is that just the microphones picking up sound leakage from the earphones? I'm just assuming that's the case since with ANC off there isn't any popping at high volumes, and with ANC on at slightly lower volumes it doesn't happen.
  2. I just bought a pair of QC20s, and the noise cancelling is amazing alongside the audio quality, BUT when ANC is off, the sound quality takes a massive dive. It sounds super muffled, almost like I have a piece of fabric in-between my ears and the earphones. Is this normal? I have QC35s as well and I don't experience this issue (when wired in and wireless). I also compared them to my SoundTrue ultra earphones with the ANC off, and they sound way worse than the SoundTrue Ultra earphones. I tested it with my Bose puck thing (not sure what it's called, it came with the Companion 20s) my phone, and the front audio on my PC, same issue.
  3. Finally got a G-Sync monitor

  4. *When I've gone from a GTX 1060 to an RX 480 then back to a 1060*

Well yea, those were some crazy GPUs though.

Because I thought I'd get some more longevity out of an RX 480 with drivers. But the one I picked up was an XFX GTR which was suppose to be a good 480 but one of the fans didn't work an it ran way too hot xd.

I got all my money back, got a good price on the 1060 as well - $280 for the STRIX OC 6GB version.

  5. Good news! Ended up sending my GTX 1060 back and getting an RX 480... Had artifacts after the 5th day even when I underclocked it... Thought it was a good try to give team red a go.
  6. Thanks for finding this, but it doesn't look like it performed that bad. I'm Not very knowledgeable on water cooling though so I'm not sure if a 16 degree C delta is good against the 212 Evo.
  7. Alright, I'll look for an air cooler than and see what I can fine. I'd still like to find out more about the H45 though, but other than the website there's not much on it.
  8. I ended up getting the 1060 since the guy ended up already selling the 960 to someone else who offered more than what I was giving... Very happy with the 1060 though!
  9. I have a Hyper 212x atm for my CPU cooling and I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy the Hydro H45 watercooler (http://www.corsair.com/en-us/hydro-series-h45-liquid-cpu-cooler) since I want to dial in a 4.6GHz+ OC on my CPU. I've tried it once with my Hyper 212x but temps were way too high for comfort. (I haven't been able to find many sources about this cooler)
  10. It's about 150-165$ but some of the pricing is terrible due to how many are in stock atm.
  11. That's the thing, I'm looking at a 4GB 960, exact card design as well for 100$.
  12. I have an SLI capable motherboard and a sufficient psu, so what I'm wondering is if I should go with a single 6gb 1060 or another 4gb 960 and put them in sli
