Reddit bandwagon is based on truth. Cherry has objectively been far surpassed by Kailh and Gateron. The Kailh clickbar has made MX Blues essentially irrelevant.
-
Cherry MX switches are really low quality. I recently bought a New Poker II with MX Blacks, the switches are scratchy, they bind like mad and some of the housings were malformed and didn't press down properly, quality my ass. Can't wait to replace them with Kailh BOX Navy
-
What a shit video. He overspent on such a mediocre board, misleading many would-be builders to think that 350 bucks is standard fare for such a normie piece of shit. Who the fuck uses Cherry MX Shit switches on a DIY board?

what do people think about razer mechanical keyboards?
Alec_FC replied to Mattco's topic in Peripherals
Non standard bottom row and shit switches. Unreplaceable painted ABS keycaps. Get a Masterkeys, at least it has a standard bottom row and decent switches. -
I'm not a fan of blues due to their design, when you bottom out it feels kind of 'rattly', this is obviously due to their click jacket being made too loose. They also have a rather annoying high pitched sound (although that's subjective) Browns on the other hand just aren't tactile enough for tactile switches, they feel like dirty linears compared to Zealios (my favourite tactile switch), although I've been moving away from tactile switches recently. Thank god I have a hotswap board MX browns and MX blues aren't bad switches, they're miles better than rubber domes but there are much better alternatives that aren't that hard to get hold of.

Kailh Bronze, you can't beat a genuine metal mechanical click IMO, Blues and (especially) Browns are trash

I installed it on my unstable, buggy copy of windows in hope of stabilising it. However it made it even more buggy. Now after performing a complete reinstall, I'm wondering if the update is actually stable and it was a problem on my end. Is it?

So there's this shitty game that got removed from Steam a couple of years ago and can now only be downloaded by using a CD Key. I found a "RU/CIS" key for the game on g2a for like 1 euro. How do I redeem it and will I get banned if I do?

A lot of 'gaming' keyboard tend to feature a 'gaming' mode that disables the Windows key. I find it to incredibly annoying, especially when I want to Win+Tab. Does anyone actually find this mode useful, or have a habit of hitting the key accidentally/
-
Found the solution, turns out an ever older steam version installation hadn't been properly uninstalled, just had to delete the PrecisionXOC folder in steamapps 'Common'
-
So I recently uninstalled EVGA Precision XOC, now I'm getting this random error message at startup Anyone know how to get rid of this?

In a democratic society the majority wins, JK In all seriousness, nobody watched that video on the 1st of April, Linus fucked up, end of story
-
So the 5 and 1/2 people that speak English in those two time zones could wake up at 2 in the morning to experience Linus' video
