I just got done doing a huge update build on my computer, specs are:
CPU: Intel core i7 8700
MB: ASRock Z370 Killer SLI/ac
GPU: MSI RTX 2080 DUKE
RAM: 16GB G.SKILL Trident Z
STORAGE:
500GB Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD
2x 3TB Seagate BarraCuda
Monitors are a ASUS PB278Q 27" 2560x1440p which was my old daily driver which is now just a secondary monitor and my now daily driver Vast 35" 3440x1440p
The only part that I didn't change was my PSU which is a corsair HX1000i.
I have been having really bad framerates in all games that I play even CS:GO which goes as low as 30FPS at times and consitantly runs between 80-120fps which is really low for this build.
I have tested every component in the system to try and find the problem by changing out the GPU with my old GTX 980ti, I have used each ram stick alone in the system and in differnt slots with no change.
To test the CPU I ran the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool which it passes since that is all Intel really told me to try. I have reinstalled windows and reinstalled game on different drives. I don't notice any weird clock speeds or
changes in the amount of usage and I am completely out of ideas. I need someone to give me some advice here and thank you to whoever does decided to help!
