  1. Recently updated the bios and after doing so, my Samsung 970 EVO isn't showing up inside Windows. I see it perfectly fine along with my other drives when looking in the bios. I also don't see it in disk management. I assume it's a bios thing but I'm not seeing anything that could be the fix. Any ideas? Also my motherboard is a Gigabyte x570 Aorus Gaming Elites if that helps.
  2. (EVGA 2070 Super FTW3 Ultra) - So I first noticed the issue when playing cyberpunk. I noticed that the gpu usage would dip down to as low as 54% whenever going into more intensive areas like the in the city. However as I leave from the city it goes higher up to 97%. I'm not sure if this is relevant but I'll also add that my cpu usage ranges from 50-80%. Also this seems to only really happen when running DLSS. My gpu stays at 97% when just straight rasterization or when running ray tracing with the DLSS. Now, at first I thought maybe it was an issue with just cyberpunk, until I ran a benchmark on heaven and scored a 2978. My dad, who has the same exact system as mine as far as cpu and gpu goes, scored 3321. I then put my gpu in his system and scored 3355. I thought maybe my gpu wasn't supplying enough power or something like that because when running gpu z and cyberpunk it would show the performance cap reason as power. I needed a new psu anyways because I was using an older Ultra 850w from back in the day so I went ahead an bought a new one to replace it. However that was not the issue since I'm still scoring the same (GPU z no longer shows power as my performance cap, but rather idle...). Another interesting thing is that I use a riser cable to vertically mount my gpu, so I thought maybe that could be the reason because of the distance. I took it off the riser cable....and my performance dropped 100 in score... I also uninstalled all Nvidia software and drivers and ran DDU in safe mode two times, no improvement from that either unfortunately. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. And if you guys need any more info about my system that I might have missed just let me know. Thanks! Edit 1: In case thermals might be of concern, I don't get over 65C in any case. Specs GPU - EVGA GEFORCE RTX 2070 SUPER CPU - Ryzen 7 3700X MOBO - GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ELITE RAM - G.SKILL Trident Z Royal Series DDR4 3200 (4×8gb)
  3. Oh okay, thank you very much for the help!
  4. What are the compatibility issues it marks?
  5. My bad, gaming yes, atx, 1080p, also if the power supply could be full modular
  6. Need a build that goes around a $1k budget. Doesn't need to be crazy powerful but I think 1k should allow some headroom for a little power. I'm not the greatest at coming up with this kinda stuff so if someone could help me out here and put something together for me to go off of. No need for monitor, case, or peripherals. Purpose, 1080p gaming, atx. Origin, US. I really appreciate anyone who helps!
  7. So I'm looking to get a GPU that could handle Modern Warfare at full graphics with everything up. Is there any GPU that could pair with my r5 1600 for a price around $500 or preferably less than $500? Also this is just 1080p gaming too. Thx!
  8. So I installed a new ssd and installed windows on it and boot off it now. But when I look at the hard drive i had before, I cant find the files it has. From a first look it appears that they are all corrupted since there's about 76gb in a folder named found.000 filled with .chk files. But when i go back and boot off the hdd again the files are all there. What can i do to be able to view all my files on the hdd like normal while booted on my ssd.
  9. Can you link me to that? I can seem to find it
  10. So I got a 3700x and need to upgrade my motherboard, but i don't know which one to get. The newest ones are outrageous in price so I haven't been really looking into those. But also I want one that has M.2 support so I can upgrade my storage. Can anyone recommend me a motherboard for less than $150 or so that isn't that low end and also has M.2 support?
  11. Can you recommend one that I could put has an M.2 slot?
  12. So I got the 3700x and need to update my motherboard but I can't find my motherboard on MSI's site. I have a b350 Tomahawk Arctic. It isnt listed on their site tho. Went I tried using the b350 Tomahawk plus files, M-FLASH doesn't seem to be able to do anything with the files it sees, understandably. Does my motherboard not have an update to use the new ryzen 3000 cpu's?
  13. Im not able to find my bios update on the MSI site i see all else but no b350 Tomahawk Arctic
  14. Was going to do that but monitors aren't getting a signal
  15. No i figured I'd do that from the bios
  16. So I installed a new 3700x into my system which replaced my 1600 I had before. On startup tho my screens are all black saying no signal. My keyboard also doesn't light up. I have the motherboard im running it on is a b350. Could that be the reason?
  17. I know somebody who needs a PC, all they want it for is gaming, more specifically, Fortnite. His budget supposedly goes up to $1300 or so but I don't think it would require all that to get 100+ frames on full settings for Fortnite without any issues. It's from scratch so include OS in the price point. So the lower the better. If anyone can help come up with a list of everything needed that would be great. Thx!
  18. U.S. , no preference on weight or battery life but it'd be nice if it were good on weight and battery life if possible but it's not the biggest priority.
  19. Someone I know needs a laptop that they won't need to replace for the next 4 years or so. They need something that can run Esri ArcGIS smoothly and efficiently. It needs to have a decent amount of memory. Also, good for editing photos and can work with Gap Light Analyzer software, Python, Statistica, and R. So I guess also good for programming and such. Any ideas? No budget as of right now but it needs to be reasonable.
  20. Adobe creative suite programs and pro tools.
  21. Sorry about that guys i completely forgot to add the purpose of the computer. The use is for editing 4k footage and 4k color correction. My apologies for that everyone!
  22. $1,500 budget. For editing 4k and 4k color correction.
