  1. Hi, I tried doing this, but alas it crashed again. I loaded DDU up in safe mode and did the full restart but it just crashed. Any other ideas?
  2. Hi guys, I am sorry if this is in the wrong bit but I’m new . I am having some problems with my PC. Specs: i7 5820k, 16GB DDR4 (Kingston HyperX HX421C1414FB/4) 1.2V, X99A SLI PLUS MSI, Sandisk ULTRA II 480GB, Corsair H110i AIO cooler, EVGA SUPERNOVA 850W and a GTX970 OEM This PC is not overclocked, and the BIOS is the latest version. I did use a Superflower Leadex Gold 750W, and thought that was the issue but after replacing it with the EVGA PSU I haven’t noticed any difference. I also had these issues when I used a GTX770 on the same PC. I have run tests with Windows memory diagnostic and MemTest86 with no errors. I have also tried putting GPU fan on max with no results. My issue, is whenever playing games (Fortnite, ARK and Overwatch) I can play fine for a period of time, however, out of the blue the game will completely crash. The PC then makes an odd noise down my headphones and is completely frozen until I hold my power button and restart. There doesn’t appear to be a clear cause. I have been unable to replicate it in synthetic tests (PRIME95, high ram setting and high CPU) and for that I do not think it is caused by thermals. It does appear to happen at odd moments (like drinking shields or just before you see the Victory Royale in Fortnite). It’s been going on for a long time, and I have tried so many things to fix it. I just wanna have a consistent gaming experience ya know? Thank you so much for any help you give me!
  3. Yeah, I just wanted to see if it was an easy fix, because I was thinking about selling it. Thanks anyway /:
  4. Yeah, I originally thought it was coil whine too. But when I removed the fans it stopped making the noise, and it's only when it is at 100% fan ty for help. I try to clean my PC once a month and there doesn't seem to be anything in the way
  5. It never had this problem in my inwin 805. Just in my corsair air 240 So how would I prevent sag? Just put a piece of plastic to support it? Or even a backplate?
  6. Sorry if this is the wrong area, couldn't see a help part while on my phone. There is a strange clicking sound coming from my GTX 770 when the fans are at 100% (video is here the fan makes this terrible noise. As tags suggest, the first person to give me a solution that works will get a gamma 2 case (sorry I am poor). Any help is apprieciated
  7. Hi, sorry if this is the wrong area. I was wondering if I should get either the corsair void SE or the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro. Thanks for any help
  8. Thanks for info looks like my suspicions were correct
  9. After stupidly missing out on a r9 fury for £200 I started looking on eBay. Saw these vamery cards from China. Presume they are just flashed 8800s? I mean £100 for a 980 is too good to be true no?
  10. Just a suggestion but you should look at those "vamery" cards. Just as like a PSA so people don't get scammed and pay £150 for a 8800
  11. Damn! Missed out. Thanks for all who helped, my own stupidity let me down. Now I am going to have to use my 770 till another good deal comes out ):
  12. Yeah, 4GB HBM. He's moving away from the country so I will tell him I'm willing after later hope he hasn't sold it already ? Also think it's the MSI water cooled one.
