  1. I don't believe it should have ever been an "issue that required something like this reaction, reddit, multiple videos about it and all that". All of this happened (the way I see it) because most people don't have the capability or the mindset to see their own mistakes on a conscious level, but they know a subconscious level that they themselves make mistakes, and it's easier to point "the other guy" then it is to look inward. We all have pirated stuff in the past, present and/or future. Either by mistake or not. Most times people just can't afford to pay for "stuff" because most people live below minimum wage so yeah... feeding the kids takes precedence. I would suggest locking this thread and maybe talking with the dev in question directly over the phone, discord, any voice/video chat and working things out. Then you could also colab with him. If the new version of his software requires platforms to test it out on, you could all colab on it and make a video that is educational and would help everyone involved while at the same time <hopefully> shut up the trolls.
  2. Contact the shop you purchased from and ask for one - note: if your monitor's page or box states it contains a DP cable. Some shops remove cables from packages to sell apart (should not be allowed).
  3. Is it the USB 3.1 header or one of the USB 2.0 ones ? You might have - regardless of the header - burned out the connector if you've been using them to supply power to a phone / battery / external usb drives.
  4. Enabling XMP will boost the ram to 3600MHz yes. Sugestion: Enable XMP after you install windows and updates to reduce any stability issues. CL14 is better then CL 16 so yeah.
  5. What's the chance that your old system's PSU has a 4 pin CPU plug ? If it does try using that PSU to test if it starts (without having the GPU installed - it might/prob won't have the power needed for it). It can be just as simple as a bad PSU
  6. http://engineering.electrical-equipment.org/electrical-distribution/residual-current-circuit-breaker-rccb.html 30ma minimum. Note that 100ma provides less protection then 30ma. Standard in Italy at least is 30ma minimum. 10ma is "better" but not required in most circumstances - depends on the ground resistance in your area.
  7. Secondary question: Does your electrical panel have a differential switch installed ? It should have tripped ..maybe?
  8. And there's the problem. It needs to be 3 pin and the wall socket needs to actually have a ground wire connected that is in turn connected to actual ground.
  9. Try this see if it helps. cmd - admin run commands: 1. type "netsh int ip reset C:\resetlog.txt" and press [enter] 2. type "netsh winsock reset" and press [enter] 3. type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press [enter]
  10. If it completely shuts down power after your hit short the pins it sounds like a power issue, short somewhere. Make sure your mb is placed on the box it came in with instead of on the desk or something and that there's nothing under it like screws or something. If that's all proper placed and it still does this then try a different PSU. Let us know
  11. Can you post your system specs exactly starting with the MB ? Also what's the type of router you have from xfinity ? What's the id on the label of it.
  12. Ask a neighbor or friend to lend you an empty usb stick and use that instead of waiting for amazon. (any capacity works just fine - format to fat32 just to be safe) Also, most important: Do not power off your system or unplug the usb stick after a few minutes thinking it's done. Sometimes on some mb's it can take quite a few minutes.
