  1. Like Zotac's cards for the gimmicky USB connector for the voltage 'control' looks pretty cool and like the concept!
  2. I agree with the lack of quality. It's hard to tell between intentional or a mistake, so I thought I'll just leave this here for reference incase was the latter: 1:37~2:00 Physical description of the laptop, no b-rolls. 2:23~2:47 Ports and IO description, no b-rolls. 6:17~6:25 Why on earth is the graph zooming in and out as if I'm on acid 6:36~6:40 Acid trip again 7:16~7:27 random gpu performance graph. Nothing to do with battery boost. I think previous graph should be here. I hope this is not a lazy work. I believe basic, important things should be the priority before extra spicing(stuffs like 'eye m&m :o').
  3. Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
  4. I tend to agree with you OP. I'm not a super long term subscriber like you seem to be, but I do feel that coverage in the channel has changed. This may be bad but I believe this is the right step. But seriously, some are complete outliers (Lumio lamp. Really?). I'm completely fine with one video per day - they are well scripted and planned. I feel they are reasonably insightful and opinionated. Most of his latest coverage (such as Z97-WS, A5+, CMstorm keyboard, A2+, node804) are all covered in depth and he has expressed his opinion based on his usage on his products as usual. Yes, I believe he should be finding more 'Hidden gems' you have mentioned. I think Pebble is the most recent 'gem' (or may be that cool gigabyte mouse) - its been ages. Plus, where is the handy tech under $100 series? Prioritizing PAX over Computex kinda blew me off guard too during the WAN show. I thought it was just me, I'm glad you felt the same lol Small complaint, I wish Slick stops frowning in the videos.. makes them almost annoying to watch lol. I didn't even watch the latest Data Storage video due to the thumbnail with his serious frowning expression. Frowning is not required to be serious and professional. But I still love you Slick xoxo I watch WAN show to watch you smile #notcreepyatall Outro is too long.. At least we don't have that ridiculous mid-video sponsor message I hate audible audio book thing and will never use it for the memories of bad, annoying coverage by him.
  5. 4K on a 15.6inch screen. Toshiba is trying to sell this laptop with the word "4K" at this point.
  6. I see, I will take note on that. Thank you. I'm sorry but I mentioned above, I can feel the difference between my desktop and laptop - ie. I am not happy with my laptop atm. Don't you think its annoying when you have good sound quality on your desktop, but less better on your laptop? Downgrade is significantly noticeable imo. I hope you understand and I believe "unless you have tonnes of money to blow on random stuff" was rather an unnecessary statement.
  7. Hmm.. I see, but I did feel the difference between 24/96 and something lower(mentioned more in detail above). So I thought I would feel difference between 24/192 and 24/96.. Any advice on this? I'm actually pretty fine with onboard, as mentioned above, I'm looking for DAC for my laptop. *I noticed "PC DAC" may be misleading. Im sorry for confusion. But "Laptop DAC" does sounds awkward.. Laptop is PC after all so... I'll just keep it as "PC DAC" haha..
  8. You are.. Amazing <3 haha All I need to do now is to chose between Audioengine D1 and E17+E09k I think I can figure it out from here onwards! Thank you so much for your help & heading me into right direction!
  9. Thank you! I see..! I'm not really happy with what my laptop can output, I actually have no clue how much it will benefit from buying a separate DAC. They look fantastic and promising, but the maximum sampling rate is 24/96. I have library of 24/192 flac. Isn't it better to get a DAC that can support 24/192 for my library..? Or I will not notice the difference? I can notice between my pc (24/96 onboard, playing 24/192flac) and my laptop (44.1 as I recall but I might be wrong, but definitely something lower than my pc, playing the same file, same headphones)
  10. Sorry for the confusion I mentioned amp because I thought I will, in most cases, require an amp to go along with a dac I am not planning to take it around with me, I'm looking for a good PC DAC (and most probably I will need an amp) DX50 looks sweet and functions great but I'm afraid it does not work as PC DAC. *I just realized. I should have written PC DAC instead of just DAC. Sorry for the confusion, again Will fix immediately *edited : forgot to type "not" 2nd line lol
