In all seriousness tho, I've been wondering why teh fuc the Epic Game Store never had a shopping cart. And this just makes the Epic Game Store so much more of a meme. Instances like this are why Steam still looks like a more refined platform.

Incorrect. 3D objects are spacial aware. Meaning if you turn your head they move out of your sight, you turn back your head, they are back exactly where it was in the 3D Augmented Reality space.

Very efficient actually. You learn better visually and hands on, as a human, than reading text and interpreting the best you can what is being said.
In addition, it allows easy troubleshooting and bring engineer and technicians together. No more: Technician: "It doesn't work, you do shit work", Engineer: "You suck at following instructions, it works!" disputes, only to conclude that one of them is wrong or it was a miss understanding from the doc writers. You bring both together, so that a solution is analyses, and solution is in the works within minutes.

Ok, so show them how it is done. We will see who is laughing at the end. I expect you to get promoted several times, rapidly. You'll get a big wage too.
Tell that to your surgeon before doing a life threatening operation. I mean it is just cutting and putting things together... easy as building a PC, no?
It is easy to talk when you know nothing about nothing. When you can't assemble an IKEA furniture without mistake yourself, don't laugh at people building elevators, A/C systems, car engines, plane engine, etc.

GooDBoY920 reacted to Xilefian in Wolfenstein II Gets Turing Support
Practically zero benefit at all. This is more like applying very low quality video compression within the graphics pipeline itself (so blocky artefacts, just like in low-quality video). The idea is to only use it in areas where it would look as close as possible to a non-variable-rate-shaded frame, so no visual quality difference should be perceivable, but that depends on the implementation (blocky artefacts are indeed very possible).

The way video encoding works is the pixels themselves are analysed and processed - a video encoder has zero knowledge about where those pixels come from or how they were shaded by some random game or anything like that at all. It would be handy to be able to provide an encoder as much information as possible, but no such mechanism exists and frankly I doubt one would ever exist as video encoding is a general computer science problem rather than a 3D graphics rendering problem. It's almost entirely solved with hardware improvements rather than adding external hinting to the encoder.

It's because the way he embrace the criticism. Most of his viewers are watching him for a long time and they saw his genuine thoughts, explanations and "break downs". He is talking to his fanbase as they are real people/friends, not just bunch of people watching him as most YouTubers tends to do, and most of them find warmth in it. Even if he makes 100 stupid low quality videos 1 good video can bring him up again. I bet if he starts uploading more variety of videos rather than daily commentary videos his views would be on Shane Dawson (drama) level.

Even when mainstream media tried to strike him down multiple times and he received backlash for his words, no one went straight up disliking his video or hating him, we all waited for his response and agreed which is more than any YouTuber would want.

Looks like paying out those click farms have finally.. payed off.

Pewdiepie aka Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, again has become the most subscribed channel on Youtube, previously holding the record of 66 million Youtube subscribers . Pewds channel amidst the chaos of being overtaken by a competitive alternate channel from India called T-series which runs it's channel on Music videos & interviews of Bollywood movies & celebrities is currently sitting at 65 million is the second ranking most subscribed channel in the world on Youtube, Pewdiepie have surpassed 67 Million subscribers on YouTube first channel to do so .

Pewdiepie started his channel on  youtube in the year 2010 on April 29th , He has currently uploaded a total of around 3600 videos in the channel ,  Currently stands around 7th place in video view rank as it usually accumulates around 3-7 mill in average maxing out at around 10 or 11 in view count per video as of late out of all those 66+ million subscribers he has  , His monthly earning is estimated between 33k+ or upto 630k in ad revenue which translated upto 7 mill in yearly earnings approximately at max. but it's a projected estimate according to social blade & is probably not accurate, this excluding the fact that he does merchandises on his own like Chair (only $399), t-shirts & hats & recently his own game release of ASS  yes ASS, All ads up to the revenue. plus social blade doesnt take into account on demonetized videos if i'm right. so it's good  to call it an estimate.

as of late he has racked up around a whopping 18,902,156,357 ( eighteen billion nine hundred two million one hundred fifty-six thousand three hundred fifty-seven) views on his channels contents alltogether

Compared to T-series which employs a whole boat loads of people for content creation & promotion & others, Pewds have no ties with any network currently & works alone to create content with two of his editors editing the videos out for him, Not mention the series of demonetization he had to endure doing "meme reviews"

Yeah... no. I use 15GB a day, if not more. 15GB per month is an absurdly small amount, showing that the people proposing this change have no idea what they're talking about. Even if the 'extra fee' was one-time only (per month), so you'd pay the same extra amount whether you used 16GB or 16TB, this would still be a terrible idea.

    Also, this:
is downright insulting. People can easily use far more data than their cap provides without even going near the content of the people this group wants to compensate.

All that said, I'm not Canadian, so even if this was implemented it wouldn't affect me (at least not directly), but this is still bullshit that needs to be called out on.

Today, GlobalFoundries announced that it is immediately halting all 7nm development and will not move forward with any 7nm node production and will instead focus on specialized processes. Additionally, AMD has announced that it's moving all production to TSMC in the wake of this announcement by GF.

I think it's interesting to see them make such a rapid turn in such a short time. Whether this will mean better processors for other products though is still yet to be seen (and probably won't for a couple years). I hope AMD can continue pushing forward with their 7nm process at TSMC without much issue.

Edit: Re-read the article and it looks like AMD designed their 7nm process for TSMC anyway so this shouldn't have much, if any, impact on their 7nm process (hopefully)

As few has already mentioned, Gamers Nexus has received more information on this situation.
Several former Senior Tom's Hardware editors have reached out to Gamer's Nexus regarding to this article, and how Tom's Hardware's U.S. (possibly the parent company, Purch Group, Inc.) is handling this issue.

Igor also mentioned that he was then issued a 100-year ban for his response post, that is mentioned above. He post was then deleted by, who I am assuming, forum moderator(s).
    Not only just Igor but:

EDIT: There is it boys, and from the man himself:

Many have expressed their ... confusion and disagreement on this matter on Tom's Hardware's social media -- Twitter for an example
Paul's Hardware, Real Hardware Reviews,  Gamer's Nexus Stream HPC

Gamer's Nexus did the break-down and analysis of Tom's article, here:

First time ever, hearing Tech Jesus say

    https://www.tomshardware.com/news/wait-to-buy-nvidia-geforce-rtx-gpus,37673.html

In Avram's article, he even criticizes Derek, another Tom's Hardware staff.
    I am sorry, but what?!

    From the Article:

It will take some time before Ray Tracing becomes widely adopted, and I prefer NOT to be the guinea pig for technology still under heavy development. For an example, look at DX10, DX12, and Vulkan. DX10 never really took off. DX12 has been around since the launch of Windows 10, and look where we are at with it -- same goes for Vulkan. Another one, HBM memory.

15-inch Apple Studio monitor. My family bought a 46" Sony 1080p HDTV when 1080p was a new thing for $2100. 1080p content was barely available. A year or two later, we bought a 40" thinner, better, 1080p HDTV for $499. Now the 46" Sony TV gets barely used. early adopter is not always good. Not just electronics, same goes for items such as vehicles; the first year or two of a new generation / design will have factory defects, and tolerance issues, that gets ironed out over time.

How can you just say "just buy it" when nobody has received a review sample, or have done any testing on the RTX GPUs?!
The $150K 2019 new ground-up design Nissan GT-R will be the best car in the world, pre-order it now...I'm sorry, what?

In Gamer's Nexus's video...** flashes to Jensen Huang, saying "The more GPUs you buy, the more money you save. That's right.." ** ... that is not how money works. People wait for your review articles, your in-depth testing and analysis before deciding whether or not to make the purchase.

    The article:

You can always, DISABLE Ray Tracing. You don't need a GTX 2080 Ti to enjoy 4K gaming. The GTX 1080 Ti is capable of gaming at 4K just fine.
Sure, it might not be Ultra settings 144 FPS, but 4K gaming is still possible -- it is not like you need a GTX 2080 to unlock 4K gaming.
I am not going to drop $1700+ CAD on a video card that has not been tested yet.

How can you take advantage of Ray Tracing when those games don't exist yet.
People are aware a GTX 1080 Ti is not a GTX 2080 or a GTX 2080 Ti, and it's limitations.

    The article:

There will be more Ray Tracing supported games as months and years go by. I wouldn't be buying a RTX 2080 when a RTX 4080 comes out...
You are suggesting people should be upgrading their GPUs every year -- that cannot apply to everyone.
    What?

    The article:

You cannot just trust nVidia -- or AMD -- and go by their numbers.
We have seen this in our lifetime with Intel, AMD, and past nVidia products...
35% - 125% is too big of a range; this tells us nothing.
    This is why reviewers exist!

    The article:

Yes, if new technology like Ray Tracing doesn't work well in the first year or so, because it is still brand-new technology, I think we feel as money is wasted. Why would I get a RTX card knowing this, when I can wait for the Ray Tracing to further develop, and mature in 1-year's time. I can get a RTX 3080 at that point. We don't even know if Ray Tracing will take off ... look at PhysX, and HairWorks.
How can one buy time? How does one do this? What does this mean?

How can you enjoy Ray Tracing if it breaks every game you want to play with it enabled?
The RTX cards, as with any GPU in existence, will get cheaper as time goes on.
Why would I want to see and think about Ray Tracing ... when I am dying from a heart attack, or bleeding out in a car accident??

    The article:
You are saying to follow the "unknown" hype bandwagon?
No, we want to see test proven results first.
Like I said before, with the new car analogy...I am not going to buy a $150K 2019 new ground-up design Nissan GT-R when it doesn't exist yet, and haven't been tested on the track or road yet.
