  1. Ok, so I know this is the wrong place to ask, but the Netgear help service is kinda bull-poo. I bought the extender too long ago, and it's refurbished, so they won't help. I have a wireless range extender (the WN3000RP specifically) and I'm using it to send a wired ethernet connection to my main computer from my basement with full just as good connection as if it were next to the router. The problem is that my computer will not get connected. It says limited connection, and I've tried re-setting up the range extender. It works perfectly fine wirelessly; although the main thing here is that it worked at first. there was some difficulty and I had to restart my computer and other stuff but i got it working the first few day. Please help. P.s. I've had the range extender for about 2 months now, but just built my computer 2 weeks ago, so returning it wouldn't be possible. TL;DR: I have a netgear range extender. I can't get the wired connection to work. Netgear's support won't help me because it's refurbished and been to long. I can't return it. Please help.
  2. YES! IT ALL WORKED! THANK YOU SO MUCH! OH YOU ARE AMAZEBALLS! Thank you.
  3. There is nothing that says "new simple partition" when I right click on it. There is "new simple volume" would that help? Also, it says I only have 1862.89 GB rather then the full 2TB. Is that normal?
  4. I just built my computer, and I am currently running everything off of a 240 GB SSD, but I also have a 2TB HDD for mass storage, however it is not showing up in the control panel, though it does come up in the Bios. I was told I need to format the HDD in order for it to be usable, however I have no idea how. If someone could please tell me, that'd help very much. (on a side note, I'd like to ask, does dual SLI requires setting up, or the SLI Bridge does all the work, and I can run dual graphics cards as easy as that?)
  5. where would I format the drive?
  6. where do I find it in the bios?
  7. So once I get into the bios, then what?
  8. Yes, I see it in Device Managers
  9. I know this is going to sound completely, utterly idiotic, but how do I get to the bios?
  10. I just built my PC earlier today, and installed windows 8 on my 240 GB SSD, but for some reason, when i search through my files, The 2TB HDD drive in my system won't appear. It's installed correctly (connected to the PSU with the same cable as the SSD, and the sata cable isn't loose) but the drive won't show up. Does anybody know what might've happened? maybe some common mistakes. or any other details needed to be provided.
  11. Well thanks for all the help. The speakers don't have an Gain control, so I was/kinda am clueless. I'll research some more on my own, but again, thanks for the help
  12. Well I feel like that clears things up enough, but just out of curiosity, because I am very stupid with these things, but how would i adjust them? the back of the KRK Rokit 5's have an HF and LF adjust, so would those be the things I adjust (those being the only adjustable things on the speakers aside from volume) or would i have to go about another means of adjusting?
  13. So it wouldn't really wouldn't effect the speakers all too much anyway? But whats the resonance? (sorry i'm a noob)
  14. Well I have a small kind of recording studio with 7' by 6' but the wall connecting to the rest of the basement isn't there, so its an open space.
  15. Well do you know how far the speakers can be from the corner before anything gets muddy?
