  1. So the Swiftech H220 are on sale for $99.99 today only at NCIX. Link
  2. Weirdly enough US.NCIX has the H220(128) and H320(64) in stock.
  3. It looks like they will be selling on amazon too when they restock.
  4. Alright just put all my parts in the Aerocool Dead Silence Gaming Cube case. Temperatures are great and I cant hear any of the fans besides the noisy included one. I ordered some Gentle Typhoon AP-15s for my eventually H220 and to replace the noisy case fan. This case is really Dead Silent as they say. Cant wait till someone reviews it. Although the case i recieved had some defects but not that big of deal. I love the case though. Gonna take some screenshots once I get my cable management fixed up.
  5. Here is a Crucual M500 for $119.00 AR
  6. @Bluethulhu Interesting perspective. I was thinking more in line with which provides better air flow as cleaning your case is inevitable. Also we have different material mesh and different sized holes. I wonder how much air is being restricted with mesh right up against the fans. Ventilation holes have their own problems too especially with exhaust I would think as you are creating hard obstacles to redirect air. So more chances for air to be trapped.
  7. Which do you think is better Ventilation Holes or mesh? What are the pros and cons? At first look Ventilation holes seem better for intake and Mesh for exhaust. Would like some input on this.
  8. Just ordered the Aerocool Dead Silence Gaming Cube case from NCIX. I forgot to enter the promo code for the $10 off, but I'm excited to try out this new case.
  9. @WoodenMarker I've decided on the Aerocool Dead Silence Gaming Cube. I can use that $20 gift card promo since I'm a new customer to NCIX or the $10 off. Also don't think I'm gonna go with any LED lights. It is mostly for bragging and not worth the fan sacrifice. I wanted the H220 for expandability mostly and to improve CPU temps, but more of a luxury item.
  10. @WoodenMarker I'm still on the fence for the Aerocool DS Gaming Cube( which is in stock at NCIX/frozencpu) and the Xigmatek Aquila (yet to be released). They both have identical interior slightly different exterior. On the other hand there is the Prodigy M, but I would most likely want to mod it to improve airflow. I also was thinking about putting a H220 on the bottom of that case but I would need to use a SFX PSU and remove the mounting bracket for it so it would fit. SFX PSU are only 450w unless I get a no name one which has me worried. Im not sure if I can SLI with only 450w and a i5 4670k. I really do like the Prodigy M aesthetically, but the air circulation is stopping me from pressing the buy button. Newegg has a 10% off if use use mobile app until the end of the day today. It comes around every so often. The Aerocool DS Gaming Cube and Xigmatek Aquila both have a 200mm intake and 120mm exhaust. Here is some reviews of the cases since they arent common. XIG: http://angrycreations.com/review/xigmatek-aquila/ Aerocool: http://www.eteknix.com/aerocool-ds-dead-silence-cube-chassis-review/ Xigmatek has fan filters on the front and the Aerocool only has it on the top. Perfer the Aerocool aesthetically and I can actually buy it now. Aerocool is suppose to be quiet so that is pretty cool. Also uses vents for intake in the front instead of a mesh. Reason why I thought white would work is because my mouse has some white accents but green accent would be interesting also my favorite color, but doesn't really match anything on my desk. Maybe even some other LEDs strobe lights and stuff.
  11. Yup that is what I'm using. Although now I kinda want white LED fans just for the wow factor when i get a new case even though I will probably not even see it most of the time. Maybe just get some for the case fan. Since now it is the loudest fans I have.
  12. So I got the hyperboreas fans in the mail today. They are noticeably more quiet than the stock H80 fans, in fact my case fan is louder than my radiator fans now. With that said I wouldn't recommend these for 120mm radiators as you really need the extra RPMs to push air out when things start heating up; albeit with the engine noise. They seem like the perfect cheap alternative to Noctua NF-12s though and your best bet when you only need ~1500RPMs. They came with some rubber screw mounts which are pretty cool. I cant really use it for the radiator but they work well for the case fans. Some cheap sleeving on them as well but it works quite well aesthetically. Overall for the price, best use of my rebate ever. No regrets.. Now onto finding another case.
  13. Well that is good to hear. I gotta make sure I dont put too much weight in that thing. Although I wont be using one of those brick air coolers. So that should help a bit.
  14. Sold out at newegg. I guess the partnership was a success. Now I regret not buying it 1st day.
