  1. Bump! any way to get black bars on a 21:9 to basically mimic a 16:9 monitor and then use 4:3 stretch on csgo? i am using 16:9 stretched to 21:9 and it’s alright but I find it a bit wide for competitive play
  2. I thought about that but I think playing on full 21:9 is just too wide for me
  3. I want to play CSGO with a resolution I'm used to which is a 16:9 display but using 4:3 stretched (like what many pros do). But I have 21:9 monitor is it possible to get the same 4:3 stretched to 16:9 and then have black bars on my 21:9 monitor? This image might help the explanation.
  4. I managed to get it around 50-60 fps and with Smooth FPS on Optifine I think it runs pretty decent and looks really nice. Unless I'm missing something I think i'm done playing with the settings
  5. I just went into the Nvidia control panel, and changed the Program settings for javaw.exe Threaded Optimization: Off And now getting 60 fps, much much better than the 25 fps before. Any other ways to bump it up to 96+ fps to match my 96 Hz monitor?
  6. I changed it to what you suggested and still getting around 24 fps. I do have optifine installed as a mod with Forge. How do I go about switching to multi-thread chunk loading?
  7. -Xmx6G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn3G This is my argument right now, I think that means I have allocated 6 gbs to the game and still getting 20-25 fps.
  8. I have 8GB of ram and i5 4690k. I did play around with the JVM arguments but not sure if they're optimal.
  9. Hi guys, I need some help. I am using Chromahills texture pack with SEUS shaders, using Optifine and ShadersMod with Forge. But when I enable shaders I get a constant 20-27 fps even at 2 chunks or 32 chunks... Without shaders I don't lag at all and get constant 150+. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?
  10. I'm just gonna go with the Blue Yeti
  11. I am looking for the best quality mic for <$60. Not sure if I like the modmic with extra wires and 7-12 days to ship to Canada with duties, etc. What would you recommend? Anything better than a blue snowball?
  12. After the lyr issue they made a quick revision and added a delay. The lyr 2 is out now which is very nice with more features. I personally prefer a warmer sound and not so bright SS amp. Magni&Modi are very similar to O2/Odac, hate all you guys want. I have the Alpha Dogs and hope to upgrade to Bifrost and Lyr in future but now I'm with Vali and Modi.
  13. As long as I can still manage to run games smoothly at medium graphics, that's all I need.
