  1. So I have my main gaming rig which is a 6700k and 1070 but sometimes when streaming and playing games it can cause major slowdown in games so I was wanting to build a dedicated streaming PC so the gaming PC can run the game at max. I was thinking about using the new Ryzen APU the 2200G. Do you think that has enough power to be a streaming pc? If not what would you recommend.
  2. I did not even know this was a large issue. I thought it was just my batter being shit. I can say for a fact that mine shuts off when it says like 23% battery. Not really too worried about it anymore since I am switching to the Galaxy S8. I do run beta versions of android. Oh well dont really care.
  3. I believe that may be on the list of potential purchase. However these road crews can be pretty rough so replacement cost perhaps put this laptop out of the running. Personally I like.
  4. I am not privileged to know that information but I believe it has been both the surface 3 and surface 4. They were using those before I was working at this company. I know more about the issues with the X1 tablet. Which that thing was awful. Disconnecting the keyboard would shut the PC down.
  5. You are correct but they have other issues with them that our users get very frustrated about. Mainly the quality of the keyboards and some of the software glitches that seem to happen with their software.
  6. Hello LTT forum! First let me say I was not sure where to put this topic because I am not really wanting a tablet but I am also not wanting a regular laptop. Anyway my business is looking for laptops for our road crews to use and the road crews wanted to use surfaces however they have a bunch of issues so we scrapped them. We then tried the Lenovo X1 Tablet and they even had issues and has now been recalled. Basically we are looking for a thin and light laptop that has tablet features like a surface but with the normal Intel laptop CPU i5 or i7. The employee's complain about slowness of the m series cpu so we would like to avoid those if possible. Thanks for the help!
  7. When I ordered mine it only came with a windowed side panel.
  8. I would try to stay local if possible in terms of who builds the website. It may take a while to find the right firm but I am sure there is someone in your area that can do this. As far as price goes I can expect it to cost thousands of dollars depending on how complex the site itself is and graphic design work that needs to be done. If you expect a lot of traffic and want easy scaling then I would look into amazon web services.
  9. I would go with a blue snowball or a Samson Meteor both are good budget microphones. I would wait for black friday sales for deep discounts.
  10. Here is a blue one if you need blue its the step up model thus the price bump http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Bluebird (yes I get the joke that the company is called blue mic but make things orange)
  11. I would get this blue microphone and then just get an XLR to usb conversion http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Spark https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Icicle-XLR-Converter-Preamp/dp/B001EW5YQS I like the spark but others prefer the Yeti. Also the microphone Razer sells is pretty good. I use it and have not had any problems but I think the spark is a better choice for long term.
  12. I have noticed this issue with other games. I think it has to do with the video only runs at a rate so the computer just makes both monitors mirror that slower rate. I dont know why this is the case but I have noticed it. My monitors are only 60hz and even I can tell when there is a slow down when watching movies and playing games.
  13. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
