Your boot drive is kinda overkill but I guess you have that collecting dust.

Personally I wouldn't go with a WD again because of the hole smr/cmr controversy and I am not sure if they fixed it for their lower capacity drives. I went Ironwolf for all my newer drives and they are good.

As for config you should either go RaidZ1 or RaidZ2 depending on how many drives you want to be able to afford to lose.
And then 4x4TB or 5x4TB will give you 12 TB of usable storage.
You could also get like 2x10TB in Raid1 but I personally would always go with more smaller drives.

Ugh well you don't have a graphics card lol.
Also what settings are you playing on? Not sure what the current state of igpus is but I wouldn't expect any decent frame rates at 1080p or higher.

FloRolf reacted to Middcore in i3 10th gen issue
Integrated graphics on Intel 10th gen are not really adequate for competitive gaming.

CS:GO you can mostly get by with just decent CPU power, GTA5 will run an EZ-Bake Oven if you turn the settings and resolution down enough. Valorant you'd need all low settings to have a chance.

12GB of RAM also suggests to me there's a good chance your memory is not running in dual channel, which certainly wouldn't help matters.

Honestly depending on your business size you should hire professionals to do it. Mainly to limit downtime in case something goes down.

Also, your description of what you want is not really helping. How many users, what kind of data, how much should it cost etc. But like I said, hire a professional.

    Alright so super quick review:

is it noticeable over the Freyas, absolutely

what do they sound like, they sound like the music is supposed to, and you hear the whole damn thing

how are they built, like little pieces of art

how’s the cable, better than any other cable I’ve handled and it’s just stock, not to say there aren’t better cables but compared to any other stock cable I’ve handled, it’s extremely nice

theyre not heavy or light in any specific frequency range, everything seems very balanced and clear, when the bass is meant to get dirty low it gets dirty low and everything else going on at the same time sounds as it should
and when the treble gets extremely high it doesn’t get sharp and peaky, and it doesn’t overpower everything else

if you have not heard audio hardware like this, and this isn’t even close to the super high end stuff, it will ruin anything else for you, my freyas sound bland and treble spiky, and the starfields sound like muffled bass cannons, even though I know from experience that both of those are great options in their respective price ranges

    are they worth 1000$?
well, on the standards of are you getting something worth 1000$, absolutely, but only if you’re really into this weird little niche of audio stuff
if you’re listening to 384khz 32 bit flacs and DSD256 albums, and for some reason can actually notice a difference, these are absolutely fantastic for a tonally balanced sound signature in easily portable form

if you are not yet into this kind of thing, have more money than sense, and are just looking to escape your dirty buds, for the love of god don’t go straight to the $1000 range because while it will be very noticeable immediately even without the backing of above cd quality audio, you’re diving head first at the empty pool that is the audio nerd space and you really gotta be ready to get into a bunch of stuff 99% of people don’t care about before you’d really enjoy something like this over some 150-300$ iems which would also be a huge jump without nearly so much of the cost

these are super fun for me, they’re a nice addition to my little collection of stupidly expensive ear hole sound makers, and now 2nd place on the largest amounts of money my bank has questioned me sending to China, but for everyday listeners this is not it chief

theyre a product that wouldn’t be fully utilized just plugging them into your laptop to listen to Spotify, they’re right at the point where getting some equipment that can play high res audio to them is required, and on the very high end they’re just the first stepping stone for people who are already well into the 4 digits of audio hardware and really aren’t suited for that market

to further detail that aspect, my little Walkman here is barely holding on, these require a lot of power as far as iems go and playing DSD means I’m at 120/120 volume, the A55 is about the bottom of what can be used to play to in ears like this, and it’s 230$ on its own, you want something with a bit more power and ideally a balanced output, or a desktop dac/iem focused amp

to simplify that even further because its an issue I see a lot of people who have money to burn run across, this is the point where you’re not just past the land of diminishing returns with conventional hardware and audio formats, but you passed it 700$ ago
If you’re gonna buy something like this you need to already have something that plays high resolution audio and a library of high resolution audio files

just so this is seen by google results for random people looking these up, Thieaudio Monarch MK II

    https://github.com/jamesstringerparsec/Easy-GPU-P

I work for Parsec (high performance remote desktop app) and I have been following Windows GPU partitioning for a while, being able to share a GPU between multiple VM and Hosts has been my dream forever, NVIDIA GRID is expensive and buying a GPUs per VM is also expensive.

If you've used GPU-P before however, it's time consuming, from spinning up a VM, doing some trickery to copy driver files over, get your GPU's GUID and partition it correctly.
My goal with this project to make it as simple as proving an ISO, the name of the GPU you want to partition and what other resources you want to assign the VM - the script takes it from there and build and boot the VM, copy all the drivers and partition the GPU.

I needed Windows 11 to be able to do this (new Powershell APIs) so the requirements are Windows 11 on the hyper-v host as well as a Windows 11 ISO, along with an NVIDIA, AMD or Intel consumer GPUs with hardware video encoders (Intel Quicksync, AMD AMF and NVIDIA NVENC). Doesn't work with NVIDIA cards on laptops.

I also include Parsec, our remote desktop app which should be a great option for anyone who wants high performance access.

I hope to make things even easier over time.

    It's honestly very very simple.
Just download the latest bios from Asus' website, put it on a USB stick, shut the PC down, go to bios and select EZflash (I think that's Asus' Bios Update program), point to the file in the thumb drive and press go.

Obviously you have to make sure to get the correct file and make sure your PC doesn't lose power in the process.
