Ohms is a terrible way to measure how difficult headphones are to drive, if whatever device you're using has a headphone jack then just use that, DT990 are 96DB/mw sensitivity (Sensitivity is the far more reliable measurement for headphone power requirements) if your phone doesn't have a headphone jack then the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm dongle is fine if you are in USA, if you're in europe or asia get the Abigail CX1993 Dongle (apple nerfs the global dongle power to 0.5v and Abigail powers at 1v)

First question: do you have a backup of the important data? 
 
Then it sounds a little sus, that both drives fail at the exact same time. Could be the cable (also weird), the PSU (also little weird) or my guess, maybe the controller? Could it be that these two are on a separate one? 
 
Did you buy all 10 drives at the same time? If so, rebuilding the array with a new drive or two might lead to more dying quickly, so I'd be very cautious. 

Most importantly it seems that one is white/silver and the other black lol. Also the F has 2 USB 2.0 ports more and a "start" button directly on the board which is nice if you use it on a test bench a lot 🤷🏿‍♂️

SSDs are so cheap right now, it's hard to justify the savings of a (small) HDD. If you wanted 8TB+ that would be different, but 1TB is nothing anymore.

So I had an idea to build a coffee table pc until my son asked me if I could do a Lego PC. As always I'm up for a challenge. So after some eBay buys (Lego bundles) I came up with this. Pc specs aren't that great but it works and do play world of warships on it, when it's gets turned on.
Most of the pc parts I had lying around except GPU (MSI rx590 eBay £70) ram ( 16gb 3200 new) and PSU ( Seasonic GX750, prize I hadn't got round to use) 
 

might just be a bad connection on the fan connector.. i (somewhat) recently bought an RTX 1050 from @FloRolf with the same problem, and UPS did such a number on it that the problem had shaken away by the time it arrived.

And 71c is not anywhere near thermal throttling.  Like 20c to go even.

Honestly this all sounds rather terrible. I would suggest getting a bigger Synology. That way you can easily import your Raid Array so you don't have to go through massive hoops trying to move the data. You stay in a known environment and if setup correctly you should be able to just extend the raid array or just build a second one. 
I'd look at the used market for some of them DS18XX or whatever they are called.

I had a blast and so did my 7900XT and 2060KO with a combined 190m+ points. I will still continue on full throttle until Christmas to help beat Curecoin 😉
 

Anyway, that was a fun event. I've dipped out in the end, partially due to reinstalling the OS and partially to dedicate the GPU to some AI memes. Cyall next year folks!
