Disgusting 4,5 year update.
I wanted to get a new phone but I kind of don't like the environmental impact of getting one without really needing it and it still kinda works okay-ish.
So instead I removed my old ass screen protector and run it naked now. Amazing how much better the display looks lol.
Now for the disgusting part
I also removed my old case but without it's just too slippery so I got a new one. Look at what 4,5 years did to it and that's none smoking, no crazy usage etc. I usually take every good care of my stuff. I tried cleaning it but no chance.

Imo what's worse is canceling a subscription. First you can't find where and then it's always highlighting the option you don't want like: "ARE YOU SURE?" Yes NO "HOW ABOUT A SPECIAL OFFER?" Yeah I mean at first I was obviously devastated that it happened in the first place. Then I was devastated again when she finally broke up and I saw my entire life blowing up in my face. But then I finally had the realization of what actually happened and what she did to me, so that is what gave me the boost to continue with my life. I know there will be ups and downs but as long as I can maintain my mindset I'll be alright. Problem is I talked to a friend who lives alone in a different country as well (in his case only UK) and we came to the conclusion that I (especially as the introvert I am) have to take matters into my own hands, get out, meet people, do things. Else the next 2 years alone here would probably drive me insane. I am still thinking about ending my México adventure but I first want to see how far I come alone. Yeah for sure. I mean after I found out the hard way she put literally 0 effort into fighting through it. For me that's what makes a marriage. We got together for the good times, but me married to fight through tough times. At least I thought so. Honestly back in June 2022 when I asked her to marry me I have never been more sure of anything in my life. Seeing that get destroyed like that even with my positive mindset is tough and heartbreaking. Haha, luckily I have other hobbies that... Well honestly none of my hobbies are considered cool lol.

What you can maybe take away from my story: My life literally seemed like the darkest fucking hell for the entirety of December. Everything I knew, believed and dreamed about got destroyed within minutes. She was the "love of my life" and I never wanted anyone or anything else. I was looking forward to a lifetime with her, buying a house, having kids and all that stuff. However instead of giving up I decided to keep a positive mindset and turn my life 360° and just fuck her, fuck him, fuck everything. My lifegoals are still the same tbh but I am seeing my life on more of a detour right now, helping me to gain experience, learn the language, explore the country by myself etc. Obviously jumping into another serious relationship directly is not what I have in mind and can do easily, but I am not canceling it out either. What happens, happens. So guys: enjoy your fucking life. It's too great and too short to give up.

Ooookay, time for a bit of a life changing 1am SU.
From September to November 2023 my wife of just over 1 year cheated on me with some tiny ass Mexican who I called my friend for a long time. It "ended" when I found out in late November BUT since early January my wife decided to leave me so we're getting divorced hopefully soon.
Since everything ended rather abruptly and I consider her a total b#tch now (even though I tried to save my marriage for the longest time), I decided to move on with my life quickly. Sounds weird but it's true. So I installed Tinder (yes really, lol) and it's amazing how quickly you find great women here. I am typing this just coming back from my 3rd date with the 3rd girl and as someone who has been with his partner for literally all of his adulthood (almost 9 years!), it's really something I've never experienced in my life. Obviously I still have issues with the language but it's going better than expected. Sometimes they talk themselves into a bit of a spiral and I just black out but that's okay. It's however amazing how "clingy" they are, constantly touching me etc. all while I am acting quite normal (even introverted, obviously) and not even showing off my "monetary advantages" (which they probably assume I have, but still).
So yeah tl;dr:
Wife left me for a poor, tiny Mexican with no future perspective (who even admitted having had affairs with multiple other married women before) and by doing so sent me into literal paradise. Thanks gurl!

What's the most disgusting thing for me is that this happened after 9 years. And I guess you would think that especially after you've gotten married this couldn't ever happen.

I kinda dig the Samsung Flip (not the fold!) but I think the small battery would annoy me quickly. Oneplus served me well but I am not sure about their recent OS changes with Oppo. Samsung in general, not sure. Had a Galaxy S4 and It was ugly as shit on the UI side. Did they fix that? What else is even out there?

OK I was going to wait till summer (or even winter) but my OP7P is killing me.
No charging cable stays in anymore, battery drains like a fucking sink, it lags left and right and stuff like the alarm don't work properly anymore.
Here's what I need:
- Similar size around 6,7"
- Dual Sim!
- I think I'd prefer a flat screen bc for the 7P I couldn't find good screen protectors
- Good camera
- no/minimal bloatware
- not too fucking expensive
- long support, I plan on keeping it 4-5 years again
- android (duh)
Nice to have:
- wireless charging
- hidden front camera
- not too ugly UI out of the box
Things I do:
- use Chrome heavily (like 200+ tabs)
- YouTube, Netflix, etc.
- texting, social media
- email, banking, etc.
Any recommendations?
